Being double-crossed has never felt so good, and the Cobb Hill Ginny has the ankle strap to prove it. Fashioned in soft suede that wraps around a distressed leather upper and flashing just a touch of antiqued hardware at the heel, with this ankle boot you’ll be ready to get your sass on, zip them up, and head downtown in a heartbeat.

Love!
Like other reviewers, I bought a 1/2 size larger than typical and they fit perfectly. These boots are well made, soft leather, very comfortable and have a great footbed. They're darling with tights or skinny jeans. I'm delighted and for the price I don't feel I could be happier!

Nice comfy boot
I was trying to find a practical jeans boot - low heel, wide width and good tread for the upcoming slippery winter conditions. Not a snow boot, just a cold weather boot. I saw a lot of good recommendations for the Cobb Hill line (made by New Balance). I was really pleased with this boot - the wide is just right, your toes are not crammed in, and the leather is soft as is the sole. I got a half size bigger to accommodate thicker, warmer winter socks. The only thing I noticed was the arch in the boot seemed to be a bit high at first but after wearing them around the house for a few days, my foot got used to a different shoe and they are fine now. You can also trade out the insole for an orthotic or more padded liner. The brown looks good with jeans and the side zipper is easy to use. If you're past that part in your life of spikey teetering boots and just want something comfortable and practical - give this a try.

Nice looking shoe
Nice looking shoe. I normally wear a 9 1/2 so decided to order a 10. Unfortunately, they were still a little snug and pinched my toes so I sent them back. Otherwise great looking shoe.

One Star
Did not like these. Felt flimsy.

Way too narrow for a medium and defective zipper!
This is the third pair and the second style I have had to return to Cobb Hill due to a defective zipper. One of the machines in their manufacturing plant sews one of the zippers so it doesn't set right at the top and the zipper digs into your skin. The flap of leather behind the zipper is too short so this zipper scratches against your skin. I see all the reviews are great and then every time I order a pair same problem. I did buy one pair last year that didn't have a defective zipper problem but I have had to return the next three pairs. Also, the Cobb Hill sandals I bought have rubber soles that seem to just soak up the asphalt and turn black and look really dirty like a old tire. I have never had shoes that look like asphalt on the bottom. It grosses me out and I can't wear them. If Cobb Hill would correct these problems it would be my favorite brand. I just ordered a pair of boots with a back zipper and I hope they work!

A bit short in length, but overall nice bootie.
I got a size 8, which all my other Cobb Hill shoes are sized. For some reason, these were a 1/2 size too small. Just a bit short in the length. Returned them and got the 8-1/2 in black, and can wear with thicker socks. Super comfy and can wear these all day. The almond is a nice darker brown than the Aria, but kept the Aria.

Really cute but...
These are the cutest boots but the fit was on the smaller side. I believe the length was fine but the width was not as a medium usually fits. They were a bit narrow. I normally wear an 8B and because of the reviews ordered a size up and found that that did not really help. I sent the boot back.

amazing boots
I have a wide toe box, narrow heel, and high arch so needless to say it's very difficult for me to find comfortable shoes. Cobb Hill is my go to brand. These boots are super comfortable, great padding for my high arch and enough room for my toe box. The leather is really soft. I will only buy boots by cobb hill.
