Born in San Diego, California, Rebecca Minkoff's first love was the art of design and she began sewing at the age of eight. Although Rebecca's handbags have been a hit among the stars and women all around the world, she began designing clothing at the age of 18. She launched her clothing line in 2001, but it wasn't until her good friend and actress Jenna Elfman asked her to design a handbag for her next movie that the "Morning After" bag was born. Her clothing line had the details that one would expect in a well-made garment and were cut to move over the body with ease. She took these ideas to her handbag designs which have been spotted on the arms of celebrities such as Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff, Bijou Phillips, Jessica Simpson, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Debra Messing.

Mini Minty Love!
I'm a huge fan of RM's bags because of the fantastic quality and attention to detail that she puts into each piece at such a reasonable price and this piece is no exception. I've been having a mini bag obsession lately and when I saw this cutie available in Minty (one of my favorite colors at the moment), I knew I wanted it. My husband was sweet enough to get this for me for our anniversary and I couldn't be more pleased. The leather is great quality; soft and supple but still holds it's shape. The color is just as it's pictured online, a beautiful mint that's perfect for spring and summer. It pairs easily with pastels but looks good with bold colors like cobalt and neon pink as well. The small studs, the detachable straps and handles, the leather tassel all adds up to a cute little bag with great, expensive details. Though this is mini, it actually holds quite a bit. I'm able to easily fit my checkbook, small make-up bag, small hairbrush, travel size hairspray and sunglasses in here while still having room for my phone so it holds more than just the absolute basics, you could really carry this as an everyday bag if need be. Since it does hold so much (for a small bag), it's perfect for travel or sight seeing when you need to be hands free. Two small caveats: I have the large Cupid (which I love as well) and I wish that RM would've added the small side pockets on each end that the larger bag has. They would've been perfectly done as slip pockets to stick your phone or lip gloss in. Also, though the pocket on the front is cute, it's really not functional. It's basically good for like an ID or subway card but that's about it and it's a little hard to get into. I think this could've been made a bit wider with a magnetic clasp for actual use. However, these are not deal breakers and don't take away from the look of the bag. Overall, I absolutely love this bag and would seriously consider other colors. Would love it if RM did this in hot pink or other fun colors. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a cute and very functional mini bag as this fits the bill perfectly! Love!
