Great product that is helping my ankle heal faster
Yes it takes a while to put it on, but as you get used to it it takes less than a minute to get it on. It gives very great support for my ankle. I tore my ligament and cannot wear a boot due to work. This lets me put my foot into my shoes. With socks it is difficult to fit into a shoe, but it covers most of your foot except your toes, so it's pretty much like a sock so I don't wear a sock on the injured foot. Does not smell bad like other products that off gas. The only thing I can think of that is negative is if your ankle is severely injured, it may take a while to take off gently to not aggravate your ankle.

Fits well, good support for your ankle
The only reason I would have left a 4 star review, but did not is the laces are too small. I was advised by my physical therapist to get the small as my Dr. gave me a medium. The fit is snug, as it should be, but I am going to replace the laces with the longer ones from my other brace. I have multiple issues with my ankle and need this to keep my foot 'in line." The figure-8 design is exactly what my Dr. wanted me to have and the Velcro straps are easy to wrap. All are permanently attached which is needed, as opposed to others where the strap is separate from the boot.

Not a good brace for post fracture trauma
I purchased this brace to wear at night after fracturing my fibula. I wear a fracture walking boot during the day, but needed an appliance I could wear during the evening and through the night for stability. This is a very functional brace and it is comfortable, however, getting in and out of the boot is difficult since the foot needs to be maneuvered around to lace up and properly place the velcro straps. The laces have to be loosened a great deal in order to fit one's foot into the brace. I had to partially unlace the boot in order to slide my foot into the brace which was awkward and uncomfortable. The velcro straps need to wrap under the brace in order to place them properly on the side. It's an ordeal. Once the brace is on, it does stabilize the foot and it is comfortable. However, removing the brace is also an ordeal since one is repeating the process of putting it on. The laces practically have to be removed to comfortably remove the brace and slide it off the injured foot. This process can be painful. In retrospect, I would not have purchased this brace had I known how complicated it is to put on and take off. I'm still giving the brace a four star because it does support the ankle (and lower fibula) and it is comfortable once it's on. But this is not a brace I would recommend for someone with an ankle or low fibula break - it's just too awkward to use.

Great purchase, you may need to order up a half size on your shoes.
These are great. I play pickleball and hike. The ligaments in my feet are collapsing and I know I will eventually need surgery on both feet. These baces support your ankle and arch and have allowed me to keep up with strenuous activity without the crippling pain that I used to experience a few hours later or the day after an activity. I did need to order up 1/2 size on my shoes to comfortably accommodate.

Seems to add a lot of support, but difficult to put on
The first night I wore it, I felt no pain in my sprained ankle. It was day 10 after I sprained my ankle, I had been wearing a boot. I was hoping for something with enough support but not as bulky as the boot and something I could drive with. This largely fit the bill. I find this incredibly challenging to put on and take off. The first time I had to completely remove the laces because it was way to tight to get my foot through. I figured that was a one time thing, I was almost wrong. I struggled to get it on the first time, about 20 minutes of being hunched over, hurting my back which has a long history of of pain. But I figured I was just learning and it'll get better, it didn't get much better. I wore it that night and loved the ease of movement and felt no pain. I wore it overnight, kept the foot secure, felt great the next morning. Then it was a struggle getting it off for a shower, I had to practically remove all the laces, then another struggle to put it back on. About 15 minutes each time. I wore it to work, loved the freedom of movement for the first few hours. But by noon, my ankle was hurting, so I put the boot back on. I mistakenly took it off for bed, kicking my myself for not remembering until the end of the 15 minutes taking it off that I intended to wear it overnight. I realized while taking it off, I seemed to have twisted it a bit when I put it on. That may have contributed to the pain. In the end, I don't want to trade ankle pain for back pain. I'm not putting it back on, I will try something else that looks easier. Your mileage may vary. It does seem to be effective. I just don't have the patience for it

Best of 3 ankle braces, neoprene padded comfort
I had a broken talus bone and my orthopedic had suggested I get an ankle brace a few weeks after I was in a boot. I bought 3 ankle braces from Amazon to try to find the best fit. Like shoes, they may fit some feet better than others. So please use the reviews as reference only. I tried the Z athletics, which resembles the closest to the popular ASO brand but with a significantly smaller price tag. I was so hoping Z will work but sadly, it didn’t. The ASO brand, which had a lot of positive reviews (and was also the most costly) didn’t work for me either. In the end, the Sneino fitted the best. The soft neoprene was cushiony. The sizing fits very nicely. It took me a few different tries over several days to figure the best tightness - how much to tighten the laces - in order not to cut into circulation while still offering support. For those reviews that complained it’s too complicated to put on, it’s NOT if you follow the steps. Get on YouTube, there are plenty of videos demonstrating how to put on. My orthopedic doctor showed me how to properly put on one (I didn’t buy it from the doc figuring the clinic probably would charge me more than amazon!) which I’m sharing here in my video. You are supposed to flex your toe and at the same time push down your heel into the hole to get the best fit before working the laces. Skip lacing the last two eyelets when you first put it on or you’ll have difficulty putting your hurt foot through the brace. You also want to remember to first strap the side where your bad ankle is to give max support. I also learnt the 1 finger test from my PT. Watch my video for clearer explanation. It does take a few mins to put on, more than putting on a regular pair of lace shoes, so have patience and plan ahead before leaving the house if you are wearing it out. There is another brand that offers pre-laced brace with a Velcro which saves you time from tightening every lace eyelet but that costs a lot more money so I didn’t consider. In the end, I still elected not to keep the brace because it’s not very useful wearing outside since I couldn’t wear the brace inside my shoes. I had to wear my son’s shoe that were two sizes bigger in order to fit the brace. That didn’t work out very well because the bigger shoe didn’t give me the stability that I needed. At home, I didn’t wear it as my PT was encouraging me to exercise maximum mobility to improve strengthening and recovery. So, after a while, the brace was just sitting there. I think if I had hindsight of my whole recovery process, I would have started to wean out of my tall medical boot earlier into this ankle brace. I started trying this brace at week 5 from date of my accident, a little late. To be honest, I wore the boot a little too long because I was reluctant to get out of it since it gave me a lot of security as my ankle was still swollen and fragile and wanted the protection from the knocks and bangs you could easily get from just moving around. The boot (and crutches) also gave me a lot of respect when I was out and about! People could visibly see you are hurt and give way to you, hold the door, be more patient etc For reference, I got a size S for the Sneino brace. My shoe size is between 6.5-7.5W, larger end for boots. The front of my foot is wide but rest of my foot is narrow/ slim. I’m about 5’1, 100lbs. See my comparison review against the other two brands to get a better feel. I hope the video review helps those shopping!

Very good.
I had trouble with my feet for a long time. This product keeps me on my feet. Incredible sized me from getting an unneeded operation.

Comfortable and effective brace.
I have one shredded ankle tendon that can’t be fixed really. PT and this enable me to do brisk 3 mi. walks and some hilly hikes. It is comfortable to wear. It washes up fine. A little hassle to get on and off but not bad. The only negative is the band along the edge under heel pulls off some over time. However, It is not noticeable with a shoe on and not uncomfortable.
