This is a transmission filter kit (Filter plus pan gasket) that fits many 6 speed GM transmissions.The filter seems like most; plastic housing with paper type filter media. Does include a new ring for the filter neck to fit into the transmission.This kit excels in pan gasket area, Many kits include a cheap flimsy cork gasket that requires silicone to really seal. This kit incudes a gasket that is metal core, washers in the bolt holes, and silicone like rubber on the outside gasket. This is a very good gasket that has protection from over tightening to the plug on the corner to help hold it in place.This is a very good kit.

Filter itself worked great, but the gasket included in mine did not fit my 2017 suburban. Fortunately, the original gasket is reusable - so unless you have a problem with your gasket, maybe just buy the filter anyway?

Gasket was incorrect for my 2018 Silverado with a 6L80E. Wouldn’t purchase, just go to your local dealer.

Site said it would fit 2015 Sierra filter did but gasket was wrong size cost me and extra $30 local return date had expired I would think twice if ordered from this site

The filter was correct, but the gasket was not correct for my 2013 Yukon SLT in spite of being verified to fit by my vehicle selection in the Amazon settings. Fortunately I was able to reuse the existing gasket.
