Mousetronaut Goes to Mars (The Mousetronaut Series)

I bought all three in the series for my niece for Christmas this year, who is into all things space. She's an advanced reader, so shouldn't have any problem with the reading level. I haven't given them to her, but I read them. Wonderful story line.

Super cute book with fantastic illustrations. Go on an adventure with this mouse as he joins the crew to space. I use this in my class during space week. The children love the story and we root for the greatest mouse. I saw this at the museum of flight and I knew that my class needed a copy. We love the addition as well.

My students like these books. I bought them as a fictional component to my solar system unit. The first book does talk later in the author's notes about how they took mice on a mission to study the affects of space on them. My students loved that tid but of information. Which led to discussions about how many authors are inspired by real events as a launching pad for their writing. I believe that all of the books in this series helps children develop a deeper sense of this character, and they loved finding out his next adventure.

Love the Mousetronaut books--bought all 3. After reading through one of the books and thinking it might be too advanced for my 6-and 7-year old great granddaughters, I set them aside. The next time the 6-year-old came over, she picked up one of those books and asked me to read to her. She was spellbound as she then had me read the second, then the third books. I highly recommend!

My almost 6 year old and 3 1/2 year old both enjoy learning about space. The Mousetronaut books are great introductions to space travel and what it is like to be an astronaut; they keep both my kiddos intrigued and entertained. My eldest especially loves seeing how astronauts sleep in space. Love both books; wish they would come out with more.

Lovely book, I used it in school to launch a rocket mouse project for the children. Great for capturing their imaginations.
