Delicious and nutritious!
Another fabulous deal from Whole Foods.I know all the jokes, but you can actually do very well shopping at Whole Foods if you know your prices. These organic shelled edamame beans are very reasonably priced and provide super nutritional value.

Delicious, Nutritious Snack!
Delicious snack for anytime of the day or night! I usually can only eat about a half of a bag at a time. Great nutrition and good fiber content. I like mine a bit on the undercooked side, so I don’t boil them for as long as suggested. I add a bit of amino acid “soy “, or apple cider vinegar for flavoring. A bit of sriracha hot sauce tossed in is also delicious!

Great item. More expensive than other stores.
It is so convenient to have those around. Yon can add those in salad, stir fry, protein bowl, soup, etc. Very versatile. The only issue is that Amazon only carries this one brand and it is a bit more expensive for the quantity compare to the stores around me.

High Protein replacement for green peas and some beans.
I am happy to find edamame without the husk available. They are a protein packed replacement for green peas, or in any recipe you might want to add a fresh bean texture -- salads, stews, fried rice, pad thai, cole slaw, etc. I've even used them to make hummus. You do have to steam or boil them lightly to taste. They don't get mushy and hold their shape.

Versatile
Frozen Edamame is very useful. I can mix it into rice like Trader J’s Japanese rice, and also can add the inside when making roll shaped egg.

Great with a dash of sea salt
Love these steamed or thrown into a salad, good and nutritious. A hint of salt definitely bumps up the flavor profile.

Not the best. Please bring back Cascadian Farms brand.
Really loved the west coast brand Whole Foods used to carry. This store brand seems to have replaced Cascadian at least in our store locally. This store brand is not as tasty, not as tender, and often has black or brown discolored beans here and there.
