It's a must read and should be in every event manager and producer's library. ( And join the Event Safety Alliance ! )

Everyone in the event production business needs this in their library, no matter what role you play. Know the details of producing a SAFE event for the audience and crew. No excuses for not knowing how to cover your a** in case something happens. But then again if you have this guide and follow it nothing bad should happen!!!!

This book is an excellent and comprehensive first effort at defining how to manage live events safely and efficiently. Produced by the Event Safety Alliance, it will doubtless undergo many revisions and additions as the scope and complexity of live events evolves. I highly recommend this book for event facilities management, workers, stagehands, performers, and security personnel. It is an easy-to-read compendium of information specific to this industry containing many references, links, and regulations about live event production.

Nothing else like this available. A compendium of how to make events safer. Well written, easy to navigate and about as frank as a book can be. Highly recommend.

It is a little dated, but provides a good template to use for event planning. Hopefully it will be updated soon!

Very usefull information covering the most relevant issues when making an event, the information consideres the difference you will have to manage in different kind of events.
