Happy to find a base that almost exactly matches one that my father brought back from Japan in the 1960s! Good value - I'm here to buy another one.

I ordered two of these in different sizes, partly because they seemed very inexpensive compared to some others. They're rather low and unobtrusive, which is fine for a base to add a decorative Asian touch. After all, the important thing is the item displayed, not so much the stand it sits on. Granted, they're not teak, and don't look like it, but they're nicely finished in a glossy dark cherry tone that would blend well with any decor.

Perfect for porcelain or onyx vase displays. Good quality wood. I'd give five stars but the paper wrapped around the base stuck to the feet and won't come off. But it's not a visible problem. I'd recommend this item.

I have been looking for a plant stand and came across this one. It arrived well wrapped with no damage. The dark rich red color looks beautiful. I’m very happy with the purchase. I will definitely order it in a different size.

These will suffice. I ordered 2 and they were of two entirely different designs. Luckily the finishes and dimensions were somewhat close - definitely not exact, but close enough to work. One had a 1/2" hole through the center, one did not. One had a beveled ring in the base, one did not. The finish and design is not as polished and precise as in the product photo - they are definitely a bit 'rougher' in their craftsmanship. However, they will serve their purpose.

Exactly what I needed! They look great with the chinoiserie pieces.

Not worth it. Arrived damaged on edges (it came in a shipping bag & not a box!?) and the finish on the three bottom feet is terrible. I would have to shave off the glops of finish to level it and then put on felt pads spending about 30 minutes of my time with no guarantee that it would even help. I would give this zero stars if there was an option. Photos #1, 4 & 5 illustrate the horrible feet that would scratch ANY table surface. Photos 2 &3 show the visible damage on the edges. Hard pass!

The vintage wooden bases are wooden bases, varnished to give the appearance of being vintage. The coloured varnish has not been applied evenly. There are a number of locations where no varnish has been applied and on the underside of the bases the varnish is uneven. Overall it makes the bases look ‘cheap’ and certainly not ‘vintage’.

Perfect to keep under my Chinese porcelain lamps & vases

The base was received with multiple imperfections as seen in the photos below. It was either poor workmanship or a second hand base.Looks bad for Amason. It is a real pain to return it because there is no guarantee the next one will be any better so I will buy some touch up material. Basicly very poor qiality control.
