Umm… I Just Bought The 2 lb. Size.
Man, this stuff is good! Someone in the reviews said that it tastes like the BBQ flavor on potato chips. It’s about like that. When you can put that flavor on anything you like, and even the healthy stuff tastes like “junk food”, the world is a happier place. Haha Please don’t ever stop making this stuff. I highly recommend for HCLF lifestyle. The “Salted Maple” and “Salt & Vinegar” are also pretty awesome!

It's so close...
I've tried both the salt and vinegar and sour cream and onion flavors of this brand, and my review is exactly the same for both of them. They smell right. The aftertaste is spot on. The initial taste, that split second when it first hits your tongue, is perfect. However, that middle part where you're actually eating the popcorn that's covered with the seasoning feels a lot like: "Can we buy [flavor]?" "We have [flavor] at home." (This) There's just something artificial and off about it... That said, it's close, and definitely worth the buy. Just don't expect it to be perfect. :)

Delicious
Closest thing to auntie Anne’s at home. Flavor is a bit too milk heavy and salty. I’ve found better sour cream and onion powders but way too expensive. I’m willing to die eating this powder.

Good but too salty, coarse, expensive
Update: Some months later, I noticed these were both infested with little, brown bugs--especially the Sour Cream & Onion flavor. I don't know whether they were infested with bug eggs when I purchased them, or if the bugs somehow entered the sealed containers. Either way, it's gross and I threw them both out. Original Review: Sour Cream & Onion: Tasty, but too salty and coarse. Doesn't stick very well to popcorn. Also, a bit overpriced. BBQ: Same as above, but not exactly the BBQ flavor I had in mind.

Spot on
Perfect bbq flavor for French fries or chips. It tastes exactly like the bbq flavor on bbq chips (crisps). If I had to be critical of anything, it's a bit heavy on the smoky flavor.

I took a flyer at the price and promise - glad I did!
You know what? I like it! There's no hideous stuff in it - and it's got a great natural taste - it's mostly sodium salt - so that's fine, just make it a salt substitute, next to your potassium chloride and other seasonings. All you need to add is a glass Dollar Tree shaker!

This is really good!!
This Fries Seasoning is really good!! It's not overly salty. You can taste the sour cream and onion powder. They blend really well together. I have sprinkled it on food other than french fries. It's really good on popcorn too! I have sprinkled some on cooked rice. It gave it really good flavor. I also fried some flour tortillas and sprinkled some of this on the tortilla before putting anything else on it. It's really good on meat as well. This is a very versatile seasoning. I am definitely going to be ordering more of it. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would. It's definitely worth the price. The 9 ounce bottle is bigger than I thought it would be. Thank you Fries Seasoning for such a great, versatile seasoning.
