Amazing chapstick and even better customer service!
I initially had an issue with opening the chapstick, it turned out to be operator error that I solved on my own but the owner (it’s a small business) returned my call to troubleshoot with me. Prior to her calling and me seeing the GREAT customer service I used the chapstick. It’s nothing short of amazing. It doesn’t leave a greasy residue and actually abosrbs really quickly, leaving my lips feeling hydrated and soft. I ended up slathering it on my 2 year old too being as he’s been dealing with chapped lips (baby organics chapstick wasn’t doing anything for him... or I). The chapstick is so amazing I ended up going to the direct website to see what other products they might have for extremely dry skin. I ended up ordering a dry skin kit, which leads me back to the phone call from Carol (unsure of the spelling). She says that the emu oil ($25 on amazon) that comes in the kit is an amazing face moisturizer and the banish my callus ($21 on amazon) only takes a small amount because it spreads really easily due to the concentrated emu oil. I truly cannot wait for my kit to arrive and if you’re tired of trying to find “your chapstick” give EmuJoy a shot. Seriously.

Great for Eczematous Cheilitis
I came across of this product from customer's reviews. I was searching for a lip balm that is gentle and will help my flareup of eczema on my lips. I had a bad flare up ,causing my lips to swell up,cracked, dried skin and with burning sensation. After using Banish Chapped lips Emu Joy it gives me comfort and my lips started to heal & feel better after 48 hours. Since them I have been using this product for 2 years now. It has no scent ,no flavor, and it's moisturizing. The only thing I would suggest is to order from the manufacturer website itself, instead of Amazon , only because of the price. Amazon charged me $22.99 +tax=$25.35. When I order on EmuJoy website ( emujoy.com) it will only cost me $18.00/ stick (same size). I also get a free shipping and 10% discount. Hope this review will help.

It's better than regular lip balm and even non conventional lip balm
Several years ago, my local health food store happened to have a lip balm where the main ingredient was emu-oil. Knowing that emu oil is used to treat burn victims, I figured that this would be good to try for something like chapped lips. To my surprise, this lip balm worked like a miracle, I can feel it penetrating my skin and providing instant relief. Sadly I lost this miracle lip balm after a few weeks. Emu Bliss's lip balm isn't quite like the lip balm I tried many years ago. However, it does provide relief to my dry lips, and it does last a long time. And unlike conventional chap stick, it doesn't make my lips feel dryer the more I use it. Only other downside is that it begins to smell a little weird from the applicator, but when you apply it, it has little to no smell, and if you lick it, it has no or a mild taste. I hope to one day find that miracle emu oil lip balm, but for now I am happy with Emu Bliss.

Exceptionally Good!
This lip balm is exceptionally good! I had extremely dry, split chapped lips that were burning. I used this for 2 days and the chapped flaky lips and burning were gone!

My quibbles
Once I got diagnosed with Celiac's I had to give up my beloved blue Chapstick because they don't guarantee it is gluten free. So, the hunt goes on for GF lip balms that work, have good texture, and don't smell weird. This is attempt number three on my part. Just because it has no added fragrance doesn't mean it is fragrance free. There are some natural fragrances that come with whatever the ingredients are (which I'm hoping aren't actual emus), and I just don't like the smell. It's not overpowering, and I haven't pitched it (as I did with attempt number 1, which smelled godawful). The texture is good, and it works on my lips, so I continue to use it, but I doubt I will buy it again. Also, I just don't like the size. Granted I compare everything to chapstick, because I've used it probably since birth, but the stick is just so wide. I think thin little white woman lips, and the size of this is kind of cumbersome to apply without getting all over my face. I have to open my mouth wider than normal. Is that a 1st world problem if you've ever actually heard one? Yes, it is. But there you go. Odd smells and having to open your mouth wide.

Customer for life
I have always had a problem with chapped lips, and most chapsticks just make it worse. Either by not being moisturizing at all, or making my lips rely too much on them. Well I'm never going back after buying this. You can barely smell or taste the emu oil at all, maybe I did at first but now I'm so used to it I never notice it. I don't have to reapply often, but I like to anyway, just because of how great it makes my lips feel gliding on. The texture takes some getting used to, at first it feels a bit like rubbing vaseline on your lips, but it is SO much better. It absorbs after a bit of time, leaving your lips baby soft and protected... I promise I'm not a shill, I just love this product so much lol. If you're like me and been looking for YEARS for some kind of chapstick to help, I'm telling you...give emu oil a try! Also, it's a huge tube and I never lose my chapsticks, so my first purchase is still around when I bought it last year!
