These were packed with all kinds of clever branding materials, but not one word of instruction. Except, that is, to return them if you can't give them a 5-star review. Seriously. There was a small manufacturing defect that would have rendered them unusable had my husband not had the epoxy glue to properly re-secure the telescoping mechanism inside one of the pole segments. The repaired poles work fine, but I would not recommend the goods of any company so arrogant and oblivious of the hassle of returning something. REVISION: after only a few uses, the repair we made didn't hold. No one has seen fit to give this a good review.

I only received ONE pole, and looking closely, the company has disguised this product to only sell one for what one thinks is two poles.The quality of the SINGLE pole I received seems OK, but I have not tested out in the mountains.Very disappointed with how these people do business.

These poles are made very cheap and do not work very well at all. The extension mechanism got stuck on the initial adjustment and I was unable to get it to work after that.
