This is the bread knife I was looking for. Its long enough to cut large bread loaves and the teeth are sharp and serrated widely and pointed, so it cuts the most delicate, fluffy loaf of bread with squishing it. The handle is made of quality wood and is very ergonomic. I wish it came with a protector sleeve but I did buy a third-party knife protector/sleeve. The steel looks to be of very good quality and the blade is as sharp.

I didn't dislike anything at all ! Yes It's first use was cutting our steak meat . My wife said Wow the slicedmeat was cut beautifully !

I was kind of skeptical when I bought this knife because of the low knife . Before I start let me clear a few things up the company claims it is German steel with the customary swirls in the metal of German steel , and the first thing you see is made in CHINA. Don't let this discourage you , this knife is tough and does hold an edge , a very sharp edge. I have had to sharpen it several times because I do cook a lot of smoked ribs and cutting through the knuckles will wear down any knife. The first time I sharpened it I was disappointed because I was expecting a sharp edge with a couple of strokes , well that doesn't happen with this knife because the steel is high quality and hard and if you want a sharp edge you're going to have to work for it but it's worth it. I've made a habit of sharpening it after every use now and it does only take a couple of strokes to maintain an edge you could do surgery with if you just do that. I flat out love this knife and wash it by hand as recommended after every use. I've learned to never put a good knife through a dishwasher because it will destroy even the best blade. I'm planning on replacing all of my knifes with these , Paudin makes a great knife !!!!

I sent this bread knife to my daughter in Florida because she’s been baking sourdough bread. She was complaining that the knife she had previously which was very expensive. Wasn’t cutting well at all. So for her birthday, I sent her this knife and she absolutely loves it. She said when she was cutting into the bread it was like cutting through butter.
