Overall, these are excellent LED collars.
Overall, these are excellent LED collars. They are very well made, reliable, and quite bright. I have tried 5 of these collars in various colors, trying to find the colors that are the easiest to see on a dark night from a far distance. The 3 I have settled on as the brightest and most visible are definitely the pink, the blue, and the green. Based on my personal experience, I have found these 2 colors NOT to be as visible in the dark: yellow and red. Just my take.... I've been using these collars about 27 nights a month for the past 16 months. There have been a couple minor problems, but they are minor. These collars definitely still earn a full 5 stars. They are worth every penny and I think are actually a really good value. Minor issue #1: Occasionally somehow the dogs can turn these off. I don't know how, but they do. (Or if the dogs aren't somehow pressing the switch to off, then maybe the lights are going off themselves?) This happens rarely -- maybe once every 4-5 months -- and is not a big problem. Minor issue #2: There is a well designed rubber nub that fits into the USB port to protect it from dust when the collar isn't being charged. The "hinge" side of this nub eventually fails from normal daily use, and the nub falls off. Not a big deal. I've found the USB port still doesn't get too dirty, despite almost nightly walks on dirt roads. Be advised these collars are LONGER than you would expect. My dogs are about 60 pounds, not little dogs. For my first purchase of these collars I bought size Large. They were extremely over-long, but the collars are easily adjustable and I made them work fine. After 14-15 months of use I noticed the collars were not holding a charge as long as they used to, so I bought a new round of them, this time size Medium. (For the first year or so the Large collars would hold a good bright charge for about 10 hours of use. Beyond a year of use, they were holding a good bright charge for only about half that time. Also, on the pink collar 1 LED had burned out -- but only 1 of many, and this was no big deal.) When I ordered the new round of size Medium a couple weeks ago, they were the perfect size (very slightly too long, but again easily adjusted to make them a bit smaller). Here's the theory I'm going to be testing: Since the Medium collars have fewer LEDs than the Large collars, I'm guessing the charge is going to last longer. (I'm guessing that since the battery will be supplying power to fewer LEDs, there should be a longer time between recharges.) I'm hoping my theory will pan out. These brand new Medium collars are very bright and holding a strong charge for 10+ hours since they are new. Since I often walk dogs off leash in isolated rural settings at night, it is imperative for me to be able to see my dogs if they wander away. And I CAN easily see them from quite far away - maybe 150 yards away. Likewise, when I walk the dogs on leash at night in town (often in the street since we have almost no traffic), I want cars to be able to see them. (The few nighttime drivers in my small town slow down and some of them tell me from their car window how much they like these collars. And people who are out walking or sitting on their porches have given me many favorable comments. These collars are REALLY visible from a long distance away and easily draw the attention of onlookers.) I have tried many different solutions for lights on my dogs' collars over the last 10 years. For a long time, I used various brands of clip-on LED lights. Not very bright. Overly large and heavy. And they quickly ate up little lithium disc batteries (which were hard to change). But they were the best solution I could find. When I discovered these LED collars, I tried them and found out they do a very good job. By the way, if you REALLY want to make sure everybody sees your dogs, select the blinking lights setting. I do this in town. Nobody could possibly miss seeing your dogs when those lights are blinking. In the country, where there are no cars or people, I use the solid light setting, which works fine and is less distracting. After many years of trying many different products, I feel like I have found a really good solution for making my dogs highly visible at night, even from far distances. If you're on the fence about these collars, my personal opinion is that you'll be very happy with these collars for your dogs.

BRIGHT! Long lasting visibility collar
My first Blazin' collar purchased was the purple one in 2019, back when it was Blazin' Bison, and it still works GREAT. There is wear on the on/off button cover, but it does not affect its function. USB port cover intact. I have since purchased several more colors and have given them as gifts, too. We have purple, light blue, red and black. The black has white LEDs and is the brightest. I only use these collars as visibility, which is probably why my purple one has lasted so long. I use a wide Martingale collar and a stout leather traffic lead to walk my 80 lb Rottie, and slip the LED collar(s) on/off for walks. We don't walk in the rain, and my dog doesn't swim, but LOVES romping in snow. Which we got a lot of in Buffalo last year! (No snow as I write this now) Visibility for walking at night/low light is great. I only use the flash if foggy and when off-leash in my dad's large, rural back yard. I often stack 2 colors for added visibility. I purchased LED sashes from a different seller for myself but was disappointed in the visibility. So, I purchased 2 small size, light blue collars and put one on each arm over my coat. We walk by a school with crossing guards early in the morning and it is quite dark in the winter; the crossing guards wanted to know where I got my arm bands, LOL. A couple of reviewers mentioned difficulty or impossibility of adjusting the size of the collars-I have not found this to be much of a problem with the large collars or the two small collars I purchased as arm bands. It DOES take a little extra effort to get the junction of the LED portion and non-LED portion thru the adjustment buckle; by angling it so it's on the diagonal going thru the buckle, it's easier to get that portion thru the buckle (see pictures). Once that portion is thru the buckle, very easy to adjust. I LOVE these collars for the visibility, ability to recharge and ease of use. I think they are a great value, and the 4+ year old collar works just as well as the newer ones. All of my collars seem to hold charge quite awhile; I think I have charged the purple one maybe 6 or 7 times since 2019.

Seems to be good quality
The lights on the collar are very bright, almost too bright lol but very visible. I like that it's an actual collar with lights integrated into it rather than one of those kinds that looks like a glow stick. I got a medium for my dog, he's got a pretty thick neck and it fits well. I measured his current collar and compared it to the size chart to figure the best size to get. So far so good!

Nice Collar, But Runs "Big" in Size
The collar light works great; definately bright enough for cars to easily see if you take your pup on late night/early morning walks. The visibility is excellent. My only "warning" is that these collars are oversized. My pup is 72 pounds, and normally wears a large size collar, which is what I bought. But it was way too big. Yes, the collar is adjustable, but I used up most of slack taking it down to a normal Large size. SO: I would definitely recommend this lighted collar, BUT would also recommend moving down in size.

Bright lighting, great battery
Lighting is bright, easy to see. We have had this a few weeks, using it 15-20 minutes each night, and have never even charged it yet. (Great battery!)

lots of compliments on this wonderful LED collar
we got one of these collars for our pup about six years ago, and it always worked flawlessly. it’s USB rechargeable (micro USB, unfortunately rather than USB-C), and has three settings. eventually, the battery stopped holding a charge and we ordered this replacement. a caution, however: if you had one of the originals, the light would come on with just a press. the newer version requires you to press and hold about 1.5 seconds before the light comes on. your pup will be highly visible and people will often compliment the light.

I hate writing reviews but I needed to for this collar!
So, my husband and I bought the black and white collar with white light as well as the purple collar with purple lights for our dogs for christmas. It's been 2 months (Feb. 21st, 2021) since we got these and I am now writing this review . Both our dogs are dark colored and living out in the rural area makes it hard to see them at night, so we decided to look into reflective collars as a christmas gift for the dogs. As we were looking we came across these lighted collars and thought "well let's give it a shot for the price". We opened them on christmas day and they looked awesome. The measurement of the lighted collars are a little big in my opinion (I measured their old collars to figure what size I would need but I also keep their collars a little loose so I can fit my first 2 fingers under their collar) but the collars are adjustable and can be adjusted to a quite smaller size if need be. Adjusting them is a little tricky since the LED lights is a strip around the collar so we had to make sure the buckle staggered between the individual bulbs of the strip. I had to adjust both collars one more than the other and neither have loosened up. The LEDs are actually quite bright (biggest plus for us as we were worried about this factor), letting my dogs out the first night was pretty cool as I could see them both plus a small radius of the ground around them. Of course both our dogs are short haired, so not terribly sure how this would work for a longer haired dog. The LEDs cover about 90% of the collar. Since we bought these at Christmas time and only use them at night for I would say 5-10 minutes total (plus the many times my kids have turned these on because they think they are amazing), we have only charged them once just a little over a week ago. Honestly, I would have never charged them but we were out of town for the night and had family taking care of them, so I wanted to make sure they were fully charged before we left. So we went almost 2 months before charging these. We also only use the fully on setting and don't really have a need for the blinking or strobe setting but they are cool. I love that the port for the charger has a rubber cover so that doesn't get any type of debris in it. It is a very tight seal but we also had only opened it once to charge and I believe I opened it when we first got it to inspect it. I would assume it would stretch and such the more its pulled open to charge. The battery pack seems to be well made as we live in Michigan and with the snow was worried about water seeping in. So far that hasn't been a problem. Our dogs love to play and rough house especially in the snow. These are pretty durable as our sheperd cross loves to tug on our pit cross' collar and she tugs on it pretty hard plus she is a power chewer. Was also worried about her teeth hitting one of the LED bulbs and breaking it and so far they all still work. So these are pretty dang durable. I also love that you have to hold the button a couple seconds to turn it on, definitely helps prevent the dogs from accidentally turning it on when they scratch and such, although it's not full proof as they have turned it by accident but that's only happened like twice. There is only one complaint that I have and probably is more of a user issue than manufacturer, but the button to turn on the collar, the protective plastic has cracked and started wearing off. So, for us it maybe more of us using our fingernails (and kids playing with it) instead of using the pad of your finger to prevent the indentations that will eventually crack and peel. I'm just use to small buttons that are small and hard to push you need to use your fingernail. The button on these collars are easy to push plus it helps that they are raised up the tiniest bit above the battery pack. You just really only need to use the pad of your finger. I gave 3 stars for stretch since these aren't made to stretch. Overall I give these collars 5 stars! Best collar I have ever bought for any of my dogs!
