This has fixed 2 of my 96 Delicas(both 2.8TD 4m40t) not shifting out of 4wd. Liked: 1. If you have the "flashing" 4wd indicator lights and your shift solenoid tests OK...this is a quick and easy solution. 2. Price, is cheaper than OEM, and cheaper than the eBay versions. Disliked: Nothing.

Fit was great and fully functional .. unfortunately this part is mounted on the lower side of the engine compartment and exposed to all the weather ,salt, grime oils and the old unit rusted out and plastic broke away ... But this was an exact replacement and appears durable

Quality felt on par with the 20+ year old factory unit that I removed from my Montero. I was suffering from random flashing 4WD lights and slow engagement. I swapped this out quickly, no issues with fit. It fixed my problem and my 4WD engages quickly. I will update the review if it fails, only time will tell. But even for the cost, it's worth it as a diagnostic tool. Even if it fails in a week, I will have confirmed the issue.

Bought this for my 03 montero ltd. Works perfectly. The build quality looks decent and it was an easy install. Last one i had (a different chinese no name part from ebay) lasted 3 years before i broke the vac lines to it when working on something else. Seems like the aftermarket quality is equivalent to oem quality at a tenth of the price!

*********Edit: They just responded to my inquiry as to a warranty replacement after having this fail in 90 days. Note that they do NOT list a warranty period on Amazon, and I wasn't able to find one anywhere else on the internet. They replied telling me that their "warranty was 30 days". Note this before you buy.************* Seller seems to offer little or no warranty on this unit, and as others have experienced, it seems to fail somewhat quickly. Purchased on June 13th. I contacted them earlier this month (October), to be contacted back today saying that the failed unit is no longer under warranty. May be worth it as a quick diagnosis tool, but that's about it. I'll just buy an OEM one at this point, which the last one lasted 18 years.

Got this to replace the Vacuum Solenoid in my 2005 Pajero 3.8l and was a great success. Compared to the quote the mechanic gave me being over 300 bucks, I managed to buy this and do the work myself in half an hour. It's been serving me well for 3 months so far, no signs of anything going wrong. Great, budget part!
