Pruning Shears (F 11) - High Performance Swiss Made One-Hand Garden Pruner with Steel Blade

Excellent pruners. I've been using Gerber for years, simply because it is a well-known brand and available at the local orange-colored home store. While the Gerber pruners are fine, they tend to break after a season and dull quickly. The Felco brand has a better feel, better construction, and the steel seems to sharpen better than Gerber. When the Felco brand won't sharpen anymore, I can replace the blades for half of what a Gerber pruner would cost. Bottom line is these are better made than the more commonly available pruners, but you'll pay more for them, initially. In the long run, these are the better tool and investment.

These are great shears for folks with medium and large hands. Great quality, sharp, fantastic leverage. Great for cutting branches up to nearly an inch thick. Highly rated.

I forgot how nice Felco’s are until I bought another pair. I’ve been experimenting with ARS and other high rated Japanese pruners over the past few years and I must admit these Felco’s feel much better. ARS pruners are definitely quality pruners and do have some features Felco could copy for instance the ARS spring and locking mechanism. Both brands cut well and are made of quality metals but, these Felco’s have them beat on ergonomics. I’m pretty bad about losing pruners so I’ve had many different ones over the years and these #11’s are my favorite, as of today.

I have been using Felco clippers as a professional florist for over 30 hrs and they are the best on the market!! My last pair lasted 25 years without sharpening! These newly designed Felco11’s are the best I’ve used. They have a new ergonomic feature that I appreciate and it makes the clippers easier to use when they are in your hands for over 10 hrs a day.

top. it looks great, it feels great in the hand, excelent quality. Size wise is medium but can really fit well in small hands or large hands. I was in between felco 2 and felco 11, I choose the 11 as it is a bit more refined and made of steel, less bulky than the felco 2, better suited for delicate cuts, just what I needed. well worth the expensive price; I just had to throw 2 other secateurs that I had for not such long time, some cheaper ones, already broken. this one seems to be made to hold for life.

Quizás para un uso esporádico el precio es algo alto no así si se usan de forma intensiva, como es el caso. Las tijeras están muy bien afiladas y perfectamente engrasadas en sus partes móviles. Después de días de poda continua no se han desafilado lo más mínimo.
