The painting done on the kettlebell has some minor scratches and in some areas the paint has come off, but the overall product quality is very good and it serves the purpose very well.

Ordered a 35 lb and 45 lb kettlebell in March 20, there was a delay in delivery due to restrictions in movement due to Covid 19. Just received the 35 lb and first look, it's great value for money. Very good finish, very nice grip and accurate weight as mentioned in description. Did a lot of browsing before buying, and this is the best price/quality available online. Go for it.

I am a fitness enthusiast and a certified trainer. kettlebells are one of the best pieces of fitness equipment.Unfortunately we do not have high quality kettlebells like Kettlebellkings available here in India among the options available I found these Amazon basics to be the best of the lot.I prefer kettlebells to be solid cast-Iron with powder coating, these are not powder coated but painted, which is not a bad thing as they are protected from rust but they can be a tad slippery, especially if you sweat a lot.I have ordered a pair of 20.5, 15.9, 13.6, 4.5 kg kettlebells so 8 in total. pound for pound good equipment is the best investment you can make for your health apart from nutritious food and training.I ordered the 13.6 first and the moment I held it I could tell it was a quality product. Having liked the 13.6 I ordered the 20.5 15.9 and 4.5 (4.5 for shoulder mobility exercises). The 20.5 13.6 and 4.5 kg kettlebells were all excellent, no chipping in the paint, uniform paint job, no burrs, ridges or grooves in the horns, they were beautiful. I liked just picking them while walking around the house. Their bases were even and they stood perfectly on the floor. Perfectly weighted too. I did some swings and snatches and they were great.Now the reason for my 4 star rating instead of a 5 star, 6 of the 8 kettlebells the 20.5 13.6 and 4.5 were good but the 15.6 kg kettlebell was not to the same standard it was almost as if they were made by a different manufacturer. The paint job was uneven had lot of grooves, paint was chipped the base was uneven due to paint globs, had to return one of the 15.6 pair because it was really bad. Wanted to return both but decided to keep one as it had only a few paint chips. So my recommendation to you go for anything except the 15.6 and to the manufacturer: you have a good product please ensure good quality with proper checks.Also kettlebells are not dumbells they are used for training in a different fashion entirely. I recommend that you watch some videos by good instructors like Pavel Tsatsuoline ( Enter the kettlebell etc ) or Steve Cotter they are available for free on YouTube before u begin training. Train well.

Excellent Product

This kettlebell is flawless, good for grip, looks solid and is worth the money we paid. I wish amazonbasics makes weights more than 20.5 KGs and I am looking forward to buying them. this is the best cast iron kettlebell in the market. go for it.

Durable

There are better ones out there but they are very expensive. For those who prefer old school workout or those who are budget conscious, this this probably the best deal out there. Some people prefer kettlebells without rubber coating. It gives a certain feel of control. Its a personal preference of course. If you are okay without rubber coating, this is really the best. Weight is very accurate. Grip is okay. Feels very balanced. Greatest thing is that its budget friendly.
