It took some effort to pop the cover into place around the harness anchor points on the back of the backseat, but otherwise easy solo install. Installed perfectly after letting the pieces heat in the sun to unroll. I guess to save packaging the mats were rolled tightly into a smaller box. Be patient and let them flatten in the sun before installing. Otherwise they fit and look great and protect the seat backs from dirty cargo, as well as make it easier to slide items in, like lumber or large boxes.

I have had the seat back protectors on my vehicle for a little over a year now, and they are wonderful. I am always hauling groceries, items from Home Depot and wet dogs from the park - and these things are fabulous. I don’t have to worry about scratches or damage to the back of my seats. They also clean easily.I have a 2020 Subaru Forester Touring. These fit perfectly, I installed them myself easily, and they were so much cheaper than the dealership price. I highly recommend. One photo shows without the seat protectors and the other photos show with the seat protectors. (*this did not come with the cargo floor mat - I already had that. Highly recommend that as well)

Finally got one for my 2019 Forester Limited. It has been a great car (bought it new) and I am tired of laying a blanket down every time I go skiing, etc. (skis go inside car). Arrived flat in a flat box so it was easy to install without waiting (some said theirs came rolled up). A bit pricey (there are cheaper alternatives on Amazon) but the car has been good to me so I am reciprocating. Pattern matches that of the cargo mat which came with the car. Also, only time will tell about the durability -- I would have liked more velcro coverage to ensure the hold-down.

Subaru seatback protectors came with my Subaru Outback. A friend bought a 2019 Subaru Forester and wanted the same protection. I bought this set for her and installed them. They were easy to install and fit well. They do an excellent job protecting the back of the seats whether in the up or folded down position. They do not interfere with folding the seats and have an extra piece that goes under the cargo tray for further protection.The seat back covers let you use the back of your Subaru the way it was intended without fear of ruining the interior. My friend also noticed the “tree” pattern of the cargo tray continues perfectly to the seatback when the seats are folded. It’s not necessary, but a nice touch someone came up with at Subaru.Compare the price of this accessory installed by the dealer with the price on Amazon. You will most likely find a lower price on Amazon and you can do the installation yourself.

I would have liked a little thicker plastic, but it has been working well for months now.

I got tired of putting flattened cardboard boxes over my seatbacks when I purchased items such as plants and bags of topsoil and mulch. Also, I have a trunk caddie that has velcro on the bottom that is difficult to slide over the fabric on the seatback if I need to move it towards the front of the car. Although a bit more expensive than a non-Subaru product, I find the OEM Subaru products to be worth the few extra dollars. The protectors match the Subaru floor mat and were a piece of cake to install. Just remove the headrests first and the installation is very easy.
