Fantastic replacement. Easy to install. Not a bad price.

I bought this bracket for my 1999 Chevy Tahoe with the rubber trim strip on the front bumper. Amazon and several other websites say this bracket is correct for my make, model, year and bumper design. In order to get the fit I desired I had to do two things. First, on the back side of the bracket I had to cut away a portion of the upper two mounting feet as they prevented the top of the bracket from contacting the bumper. I could not find any use for these mounting feet anyways as there are no holes in the bumper to secure the bracket there. Second, I placed two wedge shaped shims between the lower mounting feet and the bumper in order to align the bracket so the top edge fit snuggly against the rubber trim strip. I made the two wedge shaped shims from the material I removed from the upper mounting feet. The bracket is made of a sturdy plastic material and looks durable. I am very happy with the way it looks after the changes I made.

There is nothing that I disliked about the plate holder. It is well made 👍🏽

Had to modify it a little in order for it to receive the liscense ate cover. Both sides had to be sanded down on the inside edge to get the cover in. It is an exact fit for just the plate, no cover.

Part seems to be molded well, my only issues is that it didn't come with the white inserts that the plate screws into.

It fit perfectly but did not come with any mounting hardware at all.
