TOP CASE Chevron Series Orange Rubberized Hard Case Compatible Old Generation MacBook Pro 13-Inch (13" Diagonally) with CD-ROM/DVD Drive Model: A1278

I am a college student that uses my laptop frequently, and I recently purchased this chevron hard case cover for my MacBook Pro. I like to make sure my things are kept protected to the best of their abilities considering my laptop is in and out of my backpack frequently. I am a customer that looks at the best options I may have since I use my MacBook every day. I have purchased multiple hard cases for my MacBook Pro and comparing this case with my other purchases, this is the best one I have received.One of the criteria I look for most in my laptop cases is durability. Being a college student, my laptop goes through a lot. So far my case has not started chipping off on the corners like many of the other cases I have purchased in the past. The description of the product was 100% correct in my purchase. It fit my MacBook Pro 13-inch perfectly- just as the seller said it would. It does not add much bulk to my MacBook or weigh any more than it already did. I purchased the black and white chevron case and it looked exactly like it had on the picture when I bought it. Not only did my case get delivered just like my expectations, but I also received it only four days after I made this purchase. When I got to my apartment, a large box was waiting by my door. The seller made sure that my product was delivered with the best packaging it could have.I gave this product I have purchased five stars because I think that the seller was accurate on everything about their product. So far I have not been disappointed and I have had this case for over one month. I have struggled finding a reliable seller to purchase my MacBook cases from and I believe that I have finally found a seller I can rely on. Being a college student and on the go a lot and using my laptop for multiple hours daily, this was an amazing purchase. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that has a MacBook they would like to make sure stays protected while still being able to achieve the goals when using their laptop.

I reserve the second paragraph for the cons (if any) of the products I review. So if you are just interested in just that aspect, go ahead and scroll down --I had high hopes for this laptop case. I thought it was going to be like one of those expensive "matte" type cases that everyone has on their Macs. Instead the material was pretty flexible plastic which has a nice shine to it which helped pop the design and colors. This product does come as it is described and is beautiful in color and there was nothing physically wrong with it. It pops off and on very easily! As for the packaging, it comes nicely wrapped in bubble wrap and arrived in perfect condition!CONS- My only problem was that the material felt very cheap and plastic like. I don't imagine this being that great of a protector for my laptop, but it sure is pretty and bright to look at!

Though this cover is the exact blueish teal color showing in the picture. The chevron pattern is slightly raised, making me wonder if it will easily be scratched or worn off. I've had this cover on my laptop for almost a week, and already on of the plastic clips that hold the bottom piece on has broke off. The top piece has already cracks slightly on the edge, which makes me think that though the case is pretty it's not sturdy or well made. I will continue to use until it no longer serves it's purpose of protecting my laptop since it wasn't very expensive. If your looking for something of good quality hard plastic that will last, I personally feel that this is NOT the product you want. Rather this is more of a product to just get you by until you find one you want that you can afford.

It is so cute and slim, which I love! Chevron is my favorite and I love that it comes in a bunch of color choices. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because top of the case does not sit flush with the top of the computer. There is a little bit of space between the outside of the computer and the underneath side of the case, so the apple is not clear through the case. I would have liked it to be more flat. Other than that I love it!

I got this case awhile back in the teal, probably around February or March of 2015, but I just now am getting to write a review on it. I really loved this when I first had it, it is very cute and seems to protect your mac well enough. What I did not like was how fast it started to break. Probably within 3 months, the bottom started to break off in chunks, and even the white stoppers fell off. It was not by any means super expensive, but I did pay around around $23 for it so I did not expect it to break so fast and was kind of disappointed.

I love my top case cover. This is my second purchase. I bought a cover for my MacBook Air then my pro. Very pleased. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is , my rubber piece on the bottom was missing but overall I am greatly satisfied with my product

Looks just like the picture, and it fit my mac perfectly. The only con that I have about this is that it's made of this material that can get stained with oil easily ( i'm not sure how else to describe it), but it's really only on the bottom where it is all black but you can't really see any oil stains where the chevron part is.

Super cute and I get lots of compliments on it. I did crack the side of the bottom panel cover already...on both corners. I mean it lasted me about a year and had to order a new one. I'm sure its just the plastic. Great design.
