Very tangy and delicious this is my second time buying this.

I had tamarind chutney when I traveled to Trinidad some years ago and brought home as many jars as I could carry. Never thought I'd relive that experience, but this product is that good. It has a spicy kick that's packed with flavor. It's a mixture of sweet and sour, but the spiciness isn't overbearing. 5 stars! And when their store is out of stock, know that it's because of me, because I will be buying more.

Little pricey, but great quality, sweet, tangy and little spicy. Smooth consistency not chunky like some chutneys.

Excellent. This was a favorite in the household, even with those who are not quite as big on Indian-based food as I am. Nice sweet and sour tastes which made it the perfect dipping accompaniment to the meal I made. I did not get much heat but that's not what I was looking for. Would buy this again and again.

I must say I ordered this without expecting much. And the appearance of the relish - dark and dispiriting - did not raise my expectations. But one mouthful - and I was in heaven! Such intense flavour, such magnificent heat - it was pure bliss! For hardcore chilliheads, this is an absolute must. You're going to love it, I promise! For others who enjoy a bit of heat but not too much, it is still eminently worth investing in, but you would need to use less of it, at least until you get used to it. One strategy is to mix it well with some mango chutney - any brand - but I'm sure there are others. For purists like me, however, it needs nothing except a big enough spoon! I am amazed that such a superb product is not better known - it easily beats most of the superhot sauces and relishes, which offer scorching heat without much flavour and is one of my best finds ever. Well done, folks - just don't change the recipe, please !
