Excellent, comfortable office chair
This chair was fairly easy to put together and done in an hour. It's substantial, with heavy metal parts, which I think will help it last. The mesh seat and back are very comfortable, and the back support feels great. Definitely worth the spend -would recommend!

Good chair, would recommend
After my £60 ikea chair of 7 years started hurting my arse, I felt like it was time for a new chair. The chairs in my works London office are amazing but £1000, so was looking for something cheaper but similar. Ordered Friday. Arrived Saturday. Assembled Monday morning - 25mins from opening the box to it being fully built. Easy to build - use a drill / driver / 5mm hex bit to make your life easier. I spent a lot of time reviewing chair options (spreadsheet and all). This seemed like good value and a mid priced range. £170 is a great price for this chair, especially as I use it full time. It’s comfy, highly adjustable and well built. Arm rests are great. Wasn’t bothered about the headrest and can’t see myself using it so may take it off. Small mark on the silver bit on the back of the chair, but doesn’t bother me. Was quite unsure about a mesh seat as I’ve never used one like that, took a chance, and it’s great, very supportive and comfy. Only hesitation - unsure on the wheels/castors. Seem to snag on my laminate, so may buy others from Amazon and replace. Great chair, well done 10/10 so far

Office chair
Chair is sturdy and stylish. However it states 90 degree angle but that is not 100% true it does tilt back slightly even at full lock. Also even on lowest height setting it is still a little high for me (I'm 5ft2) so just bare in mind. It is a comfortable chair so far had for 1 week so let's see how long it lasts. Wheels are good, nice movement and smooth. Head rest is also adjustable which is good. Only major negative is it's not at 90 degrees so a little frustrating that it's advertised but doesn't actually meet the requirements. Update: company have been in touch and offered a % refund In light of height issues and degree tilt. I'm using this chair daily and am still happy with it, bumped up to 4 just becos of having to use a foot stool so my legs don't hurt and additional support for lumbar due to the tilt. Otherwise I would definately recommend money well worth it and it has helped my back pain and very sturdy.

Good Value, Easy to Build
(NEW) UPDATE: So I've had this chair for a while now and I've found it really is better than every single other chair at this price point - I know this because I have had friends ask me for a good priced chair around the same I paid and well... It doesn't get any better than this one at all. I'm changing this to 5 STARS! The company is making good strides into providing the best customer service possible, so even if you do run into an issue you can just email the company and they'll take care of everything for you. I think this is going to be my "go-to" company for buying chairs from now on, easily. Their customer service and the actual chair itself is such high quality, you won't find anything like it for the price charged. Thanks :) (OLD) ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've got carpal tunnel and ulnar nerve issues in my arm/wrist because of my constant gaming and university work. I needed a chair to be comfortable in and this is as close as it gets without spending thousands of pounds on a Herman Miller or Steelcase and let's face it, no chair is worth thousands of pounds. Positives: - Great breathable mesh on BOTH the back and bottom, just like the Aeron chair (which I've replaced with this). - Comes with a great headrest! Some companies would charge a lot of money for this. - Very adjustable, not only the fully moveable armpads and height, but also the backrest and headrest. - Comes with gloves! What a thoughtful thing, keeping our hands clean during assembly. Brilliant job guys! :) - Small company, so they offer a lot of support and give you a direct email to contact them if you have questions. - Very easy to set up. Don't forget to use the washers when screwing. Negatives: - Armrests are still too hard and made out of the standard plastic they all use, only slightly softer. Pretty big letdown for such a nice chair. If they had good soft leather armpads (like the Aeron) it would instantly make this chair #1 on Amazon. - They use quite a lot of plastic in packaging which I'm not a fan of. If they move towards replacing the plastic with paper/card, I would feel much better about supporting this company. Save the environment and you'll have me as a customer for life. This is still the first day I have for owning this. I ran into an issue where I couldn't figure out how to lock the backrest again, but all you gotta do is push the height-lever in or out. Worked it out pretty quick but it should be listed in the instructions instead. I might look at this review again and change it, if the chair breaks quickly or has further issues. I'll let you guys posted every few months on the chair so keep checking back on this review. I'm giving this a 4 out of 5. High priced, good value, good comfort but missing some key things. Hope this helps. If you found this helpful, please hit the "HELPFUL" button below. It'll really help me too. :)

4 Years later *edit* and 2 Months
I thought I should give an update, to my original review. After dismantling the chair, I thought I'd give tracking down a replacement part a try, after a bit of browsing I decided to contact SIHOO's customer services. The chair is well out of warranty but thought I might be able to buy a replacement. The reason I've bumped this back to a 5 star review is they sent out the part for free. My favourite price. The parts not an exact replacement but it turns it back into a functioning and comfortable chair. One issue to watch out for, the cylinder piston will be very well attached, I needed to buy one of these to get it to extract: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0C7VY2MX1?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 (Previously) I've been using this as an in-home office and gaming chair for the last 4 years. Up to the last few weeks, it served my average size (6' tall, 14 stone) self well. It has seen some serious posterior hours in that time as like many I've been working from home and continue to do so. (8 hour working day and an evening of gaming most nights). When it arrived it was easy to assemble, a bit of hex key / spanner work during assembly but nothing tricky. The chair is comfortable, I have pulled 16 hour days in the thing with no issue (of course moving around occasionally, coffee doesn't make itself). Support wise it's adjustability is fine, good back and neck support. The neck could be a little stiffer maybe but not a huge deal. So, why the average review. The picture is the clue here. After 4 years of service the metal connecting plate of the backrest has started to bend and sheer. The washer's have squashed out of existence as well, maybe I could have caught the pending break if I'd spotted this earlier. If you're not going to sit in this chair night and day I think it's still a good chair. And if they were to extend the connecting portion of the frame it would probably prevent this from happening. It just has too much pivoting potential over those 3 screws.

Looks nice but very uncomfortable!
Looks nice but is VERY uncomfortable! Brought it as reviews said it was comfy. Now I'm in more pain from a few hours of sitting in it than I've been in my old dinning room chair which this chair was meant to be an upgrade from. The meshing is a good premise and I've sat in office chairs with mesh back before, but this chair's mesh back and seat gives too easily. The seat should have some form of cushion instead of just mesh. The seat and back sinking is noticeable and I'm well within the weight capacity of the chair. The arms also aren't the same height and is noticeable when resting your arms on it! I was going to try and get help with the manufacturer support to resolve the arm issue but the chair is so uncomfortable I am likely to start a return asap. My husband also found it uncomfortable after being in it for a short while and suggested maybe using cushions to help but I don't see why I should use cushions to make a new chair comfortable after spending almost £200 on it, which I know is not a lot in comparison to others but it is still a large amount of money for someone on a budget and in need of a office chair to work from home full time. Disappointed as really had high hopes for this chair, was excited to order and receive it. Had thought of giving it another try tomorrow but I'm in so much pain today. I could barely sit still in the chair. I kept adjusting it to see if that would help but nothing made the chair fully comfortable to sit in for more than 10-20 minutes at a time without moving about to ease the back, neck, shoulder or bottom pain. Again, very disappointed, wished it had lived up to expectation!

Fantastic chair - update 'ok' chair
*Update 3 years later* reduced to 3 stars from 5 Chair back broke after 3 years of heavy use which is ok so I re-ordered a new chair from the exact same page on amazon. product delivered was subpar quality, the legs were bent, and the edge of the seat was very hard while the centre soft resulting in my blood circulation in my thighs constantly being squeezed. It is very uncomfortable to sit on as the new model is similar enough but just a little bit more "curvy" on the seat and the back support which kind of forces you to lean back constantly, so it doesnt work very well for working. The back joint broke after leaning on it for 3 years, so I replaced the back from the new chair, but I also really just needed the new base of the chair for the pneumatic tube to be changed with the new chair's base but it is impossible as once you insert the pneumatic tube in the base and the legs it never comes off again. I wanted to remove it after I realised the new parts are not completely inerchangeable with the old parts. Also the old model looked better and the arm rests were wider Reduced to 3 stars *end of update* This chair is very comfortable, quiet and feels sturdy and a solid build. I am happy with it so far The mesh seems to be good quality and will hopefully last long. I am 94kg and 180cm and I fit fine on it. I can even sit with both my legs crossed on it. Tilting back feels good and the chair feels stable. The 2:1 asychronous tilt mechanism is good too. you can also lock the chair at a specific tilt but sometimes it gets a bit stuck when you try to reset it to 0 degrees. The headrest is also very adjustable and fits me well so far. I dont like the plastic feel of the mesh but I guess I will get used to it. The arm rests are indeed very adjustable. Only thing i would like is for them to go a bit lower so I can raise the chair higher but my knees are bending in an appropriate angle currently anyway. Delivery: I ordered this 3 days ago and was supposed to be delivered in a month but it just arrived today, so I am quite happy about this. They should look into this as I almost did not buy this as I did not want to have to wait for another month while I am working from home. It comes delivered with all the necessary tools (including the allen key and gloves) and the screws +1 of everything that you need. There were no major issues with the product I received but one of the sockets where the arm rest base screws in had the screw in the wrong angle so it took me a while to fix - not sure if someone else with fewer tools would have been able to fix this though. I did not notice any issues yet with what I have received. One thing I would ask them to change is to put a 'forward' sign on the base to avoid doubt when you assemble it. Oh and attaching the back to the seat is probably a two-person job if you want to get it right the first time but could be done on your own too.

Easy to assemble, very adjustable, super comfortable, well worth the money! 10/10 would recommend!
So, I had recently gotten a GTPlayer Gaming Chair (about 3 months ago) through a WFH Scheme from my employer, however, after a few days (!) it felt as if I'd had it for years, the cushion no longer cushioned anything, my tailbone hurt after a few hours, couldn't get the back-rest to be adjusted comfortable, found myself repositioning every few minutes, so I desperately wanted a chair resembling what I had in the office. After a load of searching, I stumbled across this SIHOO m57 model chair, after some research on Google, it seemed like this was "the one" (had to check brand's reputation, reviews of the chair itself, legitimacy of the claims...). Finally bit the bullet last week Thursday (afterall, 300€ is not exactly cheap) but boy am I glad I did. The assembly was a breeze. Firstly I was quite happy to find that this product was not only carefully packaged (contrary to the other chair, where everything kinda seemed like it was chucked into a box and shipped), but the instructions were clear, everything was properly labeled, and you get an Allan-key that didn't ruin your hands trying to tighten the bolts. The threading for all the bolts was perfectly done and every bolt-type came with one or 2 spares. Same with the washers, plenty of them and clearly distinguishable which was needed for which. I was able to assemble this in about half an hour, by myself. The size and adjustability is ideal and the resulting comfort is phenomenal. You can pivot the arm-rests, raise or lower them, slide them forwards/backwards. The lumbar support is easily raised and the system for making the support more prominent or not is very well done. The headrest was easily mounted (just slides in) and easily adjustable in height (handy if you're tall like me, 1m86) and it even tilts, allowing you to find that sweetspot, whether you prefer neck or back of the head support. The chair has a brilliant raising and lowering system, with a seating/back-rest tilt mechanism that rivals that of even more expensive models (like the ones we have in the office). Aside from that, you can also lock the tilt in place, once you've found the ideal seating position. If you don't like it fixed, then you can simply leave it unlocked so that you can actually rock back and forth in the chair. The tilt-sensitivity is regulated by the knob on the bottom-front of the seat and I was able to quickly nail the ideal resistance. The mesh-weave, for me, at about 80kg, has the perfect springyness and rigidity. The looks are sober but the pattern in the mesh-weave spruces things up just enough. In conclusion: If you're looking for something easy to assemble, which is highly functional and comfortable but not too boring or overpriced, this chair will hit all those marks, and then some.
