this auger was worth the money. i've owned a Jiffy in the past and was always hard to start this Eskimo 10 inch starts easy and cuts strong. i have owned it since 2019, and cut several hundred holes on average 12" deep and no complaints here. I only wish it was lighter to carry. I would purchase again if needed too.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas...I read the reviews and frankly was a little worried because I know diddly about augers and motors and the like...until I read from the guy who wrote in his review something to the effect that there is absolutely nothing wrong with this model, it runs great, IF one knows how to operate this type of motor! And it DOES work great! You can't beat the price, it's a good little workhorse, in fact this is the first time my husband's ever complained about the fishing being TOO GOOD because he only used the auger to drill five holes, and was disappointed because he couldn't drill about 20 more! He had absolutely no trouble with starting it, or with operation, he says it ran great! Shipping was great, I ordered it way to close to Christmas but the webpage said if ordered that day would arrive by Christmas and it did! Very quick! AND free shipping from this seller? Woooow! Thanks soooo much for helping me pull off a Christmas my hubby'll never forget - beats the heck out of getting a TIE! I would recommend this seller and this auger to anyone who ice fishes or loves someone who does!

Buying this auger was a gamechanger. I can drill 50 holes in minutes which allows my to fish more efficiently. Hand augers are a good start but they are tiring. This makes ice fishing much more enjoyable. The price was fair for this auger.My only complaints are that this has had a small fuel leak since I first used it. Reading the reviews, it sounds like is a common problem. Next complain is that this thing is expensive and its the cheapest I could find. You'd think that a competitor would have put out a more affordable one by now.Save yourself the hassle and just buy this. You won't regret it!

Finally! Enough ice to break out the auger lol. This auger is all that I expected and more. Shipment arrived on time. Assembly was very easy. Put the auger on the motor and tighten 1 bolt. Easy squeezy. I fueled the auger up and followed the starting instructions. The first time I tried to start the motor it didn't fire right away, but that is to be expected with a fresh motor, but it did fire up after about 5 or so pulls. Now that the motor has run, just pump the primer bulb a few times, turn the choke on, pull and usually after 1 pull switch the choke to half pull 1 more time and it's running. Right now I have about 6" of ice on my pond and this augher is through that amount of ice before the motor has reached full rpm. I would highly reccomend this auger. Hope this helps.
