1st one was DOA. They sent replacement ASAP and works just fine with my Goes satellite system.

Awesome LNA for GOES reception
This is awesome for receiving GOES data as well as HRT from NOAA and Meteor. I use mine in conjunction with the L-band dish antenna also offered by NOOELEC.

Works great! I tried a general purpose amp but I couldn't get GOES 16. With this I get a very strong, stable signal.

Works great and easiest set-up
Works like a charm. Just don't forget to turn bias-t on and have your SDR gain turned up. I get clear signals at around 6 SNR from GOES East and I'm near 43º N

Very capable device!
I was apprehensive about purchasing this device after being disappointed with the perfomance of Nooelec's Distlll-FM and Distill-AM filter products. However, I was impressed with this device when coupled with a small parabolic grid dish. In operation 24/7, this amp/antenna combo perform almost flawlessly with only a few errors (<10) occurring every day. The twin amplifiers provide adequate signal gain while the built-in filter attenuates nearby interference extremely well. Highly recommended for it's intended application.
