This sleeping bag is NOT for 20 degree weather. We slept on an air mattress with a very thick converter and wearing a few layers of clothing in 30 degree weather in our tent near Death Valley, CA. We where too cold for comfort but we did make it through the night before opting to go home to warm up. Next time we will bring warmer cloths and two more comforters and use the same sleeping bag. It is a pretty nice bag and we only get cold weather for a short time here. I would say it is good for 70 degree weather if you wear nothing and have a mat. Otherwise you will need more to just for the weather. Even for the cold it is great for keeping the two of us together with no one stealing the covers. I would call it the equivalent to a sheet for the outdoor sleeping bag world. The stars are not for it's thickness, and most of them are for the general quality and the bag it comes in. I am in love with the little bag because I can actually get the sleeping bag back into it no problem! If you want a thin sleeping bag, I highly recommend!

Bought this to go hunting in December here in Texas. I slept in the back of my truck on an air mattress under a tarp for rain protection. The temps got down to 28 at night. No problem. The only additional thing added to the bag was a woobie. This bag is big enough that I folded the excess over me so that I had two layers. During the night I had to take that layer off.Pros:Size. I am 5'11, and this bag gave me both plenty of room to pull up to my neck and to move around inside the bag.Smell. This thing has no odor coming out of its packaging.Zippers. They are not cheap junk that gets stuck or breaks. Smooth operation and they stay put.Pack bag. Very convenient.Shipping. Super fast. Two days.Cons:None. For the money this was an excellent purchase and will serve me - and hopefully you well.

I was a little exceptical this sleeping bag would keep us warm below freezing temperatures. It was actually pretty warm at 32° and we had a heavy throw over us when it got down to 19°. Size is ok for two adults, my husband and I being 5'8" and 5'12". Only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because it is a two-person job getting it back in the bad! Other than that, it is a good buy

Used this on a trip with my bf. It got to around 21F in the night. It was Cold. However, we were extremely warm when we slipped into the bag together and it was amazing. If it wasn't for the 40+mph winds that started kicking up the second night, we wouldn't have had any issues with the night at all. This double sleeping bag is easy to fold up and easy to slip back into the bag it came with. I love that completely folded up it's the same size as a single sleeping bag, so I think it's quite compact, also I love the feel of it. Also! It isn't that slippery cold material most cheap sleeping bags are, it's quite nice of a material and fabric, and for the price I loove it too.Would definitely buy this again if I needed too.

I go camping about once a year. In an RV in the summer. So I can't comment on how it holds up in zero weather. I have two sleeping bags that are singles. There is nothing wrong with them as far as quality goes.But the problem with a single sleeping bag is that when you turn they turn. I am fairly small so I am sure the happens to a lot of people.With a double sleeping bag you have more then enough room to flop around while you are sleeping and not wake yourself up in a twist of material.I don't think a double bag would be very comfortable for two people, but I can't say since I haven't tried it yet. LOL

Not even close to retaining heat at “20°F” in this bag. We were aware of cold weather and packed extra blankets to line the inside of this bag but still froze our butts off at 26°F.

It's a good sleeping bag and very warm but not rated 20 degrees. If you are camping and only bring this bag you will freeze to death. Its really probably rated at 40 degrees. It was 26 degrees when the wife and I went camping. We had two blankets inside the sleeping bag with us. Thermal underwear and a heater buddy in the tent with us and we were still kind of cold but doable. Bring blankets!!!!! It fit two people great and is lightweight and easy to put away and store. I like the bag very much but so glad we took extra blankets just in case the rating was incorrect which it was

We froze. It dropped to 55 degrees and I was really glad to have purchased the sleeping bags with the 20 degree factor. Even layered with clothing....even grabbed another blanket from the car and brought it in the sleeping bag...., heat just didn’t hold. I’ve had a Coleman red sleeping bag before which held the heat nicely and it was lined with a fleece or flannel material. I was hoping this was a step up but i was wrong. The design looks great which is why I have it 2 stars but it’s purpose does not check out.
