CD/DVD paper sleeves
Although it claims to be a brand name, the quality could improve. The paper sleeves are very thin unlike those I bought years ago. But on the plus side, they do the job intended and for the price you can't complain too much. So, I'll stop now.

They do the job
Needed an inexpensive way to protect DVDs that I have recorded (actually only one) this was the best solution overall, the paper sleeves store well and offer decent protection. Plus, they do not become plastic waste when finished with them.

Good Cheap Protection for CD/DVD disks
I couldn't find these at the Office supply stores or Wally World, but you can get them on Amazon. I make copies of compact disks that I create to give to my friends, and these are a cheap alternative to the hard cases, and still provide good protection to the disk, so it doesn't get scratched or damaged.
