These watering globes work well as long as you make sure they are put in the soil at an angle otherwise the water will run out quickly! The watering globes are very pretty and colors complement the flowers in the pots but they are fragile!

Pros first: these are very pretty and beautifully made. The colors are beautiful. They arrived packaged well. They kinda work.Cons, which unfortunately outweigh the pros:They work, but not well. Each bulb has a different diameter tube, so that may have something to do with the different flow in each bulb.They last about two days in our outdoor flowerpots, but certainly not two weeks.They are difficult and oddly time-consuming to fill, which caused me to wonder if I am wasting more water filling the tubes than I would in using the hose to simply water the plants on my own.While beautiful, they are very, very fragile.Finally, their price tag is exorbitant for their purpose.Still searching for something to water our outdoor plants for two weeks, but will surely end up hiring a neighborhood kid to do it.

Build quality:Ok. I loved these at first. We went away for two weeks and when we came home all my plants looked very healthy and watered. I decided I'd refill them and keep them in my plants a bit longer. While sitting on the couch near one of them, it suddenly exploded and crashed to the floor. It had not fallen out of the plant dirt, it just plain exploded. Well, we thought this strange but figured it was just a freak incident. Last night, about 3 weeks after the first incident, a second one also exploded!! I kid you not! I still have the remainder in my plants but I think i'm going to have to remove them all before someone gets hurt. As I said, they worked perfectly, look great, and are very easy to use but those two weird explosions make it impossible to recommend them. I'd love to contact the company directly about this so I hope they read this review! Perhaps this has happened to someone else?

Love these globes. They are helping my plants survive the hot Texas summer! I think it’s important to note how much of an angle you place them at in the pots. From my experience over the last week, it seems the more horizontal they are, the faster they expel the water and vice versa when they are more vertical.
