I had a terrible expensive experience few months ago with a defective valve, and without researching, which I usually don’t do, I bought one from Lowes for 30 bucks. It was easy to assemble and solved my issue.Few weeks later another toilet in my house had the same problem with a valve and this time, researching at Amazon, I found this one, well rated and with a fraction of the price. Decided to give a try, and it works as well as the one from Lowes, as easy to install and as effective. It seems to be as durable and well finished.Definitely recommend it!

We replaced a Toto valve, which looked exactly the same except for the blue top. I’m a mechanical dummy, but even I could do it. The directions are a model of clarity - thank you for putting it all on one sheet, with Spanish and French text as footnotes rather than repeating all the pictures. Simple bullets and pictures, that’s all I need. The YouTube video is just as concise. Also, the clamshell packaging is frustration-free, with the cardboard easily separated for recycling. Thank you for thinking of that! All the parts are in there and no waste; they are simple, sturdy, and high quality. Finally, I can hardly believe the low price for such a well-made, thoughtfully designed, and Made in USA product! I have bought other Korky items before, like the plunger and valve caps, and they are all great, reasonably priced, and US-made. I had never heard of Korky before, but their products speak for themselves. Just an aside and IMHO: our country doesn’t need tariffs. Just look at Korky, be like them, and you’ll find success.

I used this to replace a Pentair auto filler for my pool. It was about a third of the price and works exactly the same. Once installed, it's even easier to adjust the fill height. You just turn off the water, twist and set. Turn the water on and check the height. Repeat as needed to get the height set. Only issue is I had to unclip the base from the rest of the unit in order to be able to screw the base into the receiver. I had to heat the clips to get them to release, but it worked fine and I just set the unit back onto the base and felt it clip back in. Also, as the base screws down into a threaded receiver (not through the base of a toilet tank) I installed what would be the flange nut under the tank onto the threaded base, then put the rubber washer below that so once installed, I threaded the flange nut down which compressed the washer into the threaded receiver. Same concept from the original design, just in reverse.

Works great but not quiet. I'm pleased with it and it was easy to install.

I installed this in a Toto toilet and it was a breeze. Instructions are clear. It does a great job on water flow and fits a variety of toilets. At this price, since I did it myself, I saved a couple hundred bucks at least on a plumber. The only tool I needed was some channel locks to remove the old unit. Seems pretty quiet while in operation.

The fill valve on my Kohler toilet had been acting up the last few weeks. Mainly it didn't start filling after flush for a long time, and sometimes it wouldn't stop running. After a few YouTube videos to see if it could be salvaged, I went to Lowes to purchase a replacement. The Kohler fill valve compatible with it was awful. It caused a small leak in the water line that comes in, and my old fill valve didn't have a flow restrictor, so I called Kohler service, and they said to try each flow of the 6 options (which required me to take it apart each time to change) until I found a suitable one.A quick internet search found me on a few plumber forums, and everybody raved about the Korky Platinum universal fill valve. I got in Amazon and was amazed by the simplicity and ease of install. I instantly could see the difference in quality and how it worked compared to the previous Kohler fill valve. The Korky fill valve also cost less than half of what Kohler was charging. The best part was installing it - the instructions were super clear and it took no time at all. Plus there was no silly flow restrictor to figure out, Korky has a simple knob to adjust if you need to.I'm now a big Korky fan and will use the brand for anything plumbing related.

This flush valve was super easy to install into my Kohler class 5 toilet. It took maybe 10 minutes to install and worked perfectly the first time I reopened the water valve. Great product and glad it's made in the USA!The original Kohler fill valve started leaking after about 7 years of use. I tried replacing the seal, but that was a waste of money as it still leaked. Next time I'm just going to buy a Korky fill valve.Great value at over $10 cheaper than the genuine Kohler part and just around $10 than the Fluidmaster fill valve assembly.
