Good bulb
Good light bulb. Remember to change the little part on the lamp before installing the new bulb. That little part dies and needs to be replaced. If you plug the bulb in and it doesn’t work, it’s not a bulb issue. It’s the lamp. I replaced the part that the bulb plugs into and it was works great.

Works great!
After I got it I put it to use immediately in my Flowtron Bug zapper. It's been working fine. I'm using it about 9-10hrs a day (it's got a photo sensor to turn off the light during the day).

Not easy to get the old bulb out
I had to find a very thin long-stem screwdriver to gently ease the old bulb out of the plug. I was afraid if I kept pulling on the end of the old bulb it would break. The new one is very bright and works well.

Good value , may need screw driver to unplug the old bulb
Bulb is tough to replace. Trying to pull out the old one the glass body disconnected from the (too well) plugged-in base. Needed a screw driver and some disassembly to get the previous bulb base leveraged out. Overall, I am still quite satisfied with the bulb (at least the previous one) in terms of life span. It lasted almost 2 seasons, running day and night. Running it day-and-night made a significant difference in terms of total mosquitos at night (interestingly, not so successful during the day). It seemed important to start using the device very early in the season - before the "mosquito avalanche" can develop.

Doesn't work.
I have ordered two at two different times and neither one worked! These are expensive to replace so I really don't appreciate that neither one would work. It would have cost me less to just buy a whole new bug zapper which is what I am going to do now. Just a heads up...the first bulb arrived out of the original box. Thought that was why it didn't work. I would not recommend these bulbs.

Just what we needed.
The right size bulb for my bug light was difficult to find. This one works. Will order again.
