377 Newborn Caulk Gun, X-Tender, Deluxe, 45 in, 29 oz., Gray

Just what I needed!!!!

This is a well made tool. It is heavy duty and just the tool I needed. I have some very large windows over 6 feet tall with brick facia that are over 16 feet above the ground to the base of the windows. I quickly modified this tool by swapping out the pusher plate with one for a 10 Oz cartridge. The screw thread on the push rod is 1/4 - 24, so if you can plan ahead of time, you can get the appropriate sized nuts to adapt it. I used two pieces of duct tape to secure the 10 Oz. Pusher plate. A piece of duct tape will also hold the cartridge in the larger carrier. I would suggest an extended nozzle for an even better job to address the thickness of the larger carrier. New Norn does sell an adapter for the 10 Oz cartridges that I am sure is equally well made. I was looking for the maximum of reach and reduced weight for my needs. I finished my tasks in under two hours. Outstanding tool! Big problem solver for a DIY guy.

with plywood using the Larger Glue Tubes then you'll need to get the Adapter to use the "REGULAR-SIZE" Dap type white caulk. This 45" extender is for the LARGER GLUE Type Caulk size...and yes, the ADAPTER comes with NO Instruction. I'm a retired mechanic so i eventually figured it out. Without going into a long story and to save you guys time to figure out the Adapter for the "Reg.-Size" Dap caulks....remember came without Instruction, lol. 1st thing is UNSREW the LARGER round chrome plate (to push the larger Floor Glue tube) on the Extension Gun then UNSCREW the SMALLER round chrome plate thats SCREWED on the UNDERSIDE of the Dap-type size ADAPTER (OPTIONAL, NEEDED to use the REG. Size Dap type white caulk)....start from there and see if u can figure it out cause i'm tire writing, lol.Note: Pic: 1 & 2 is with reg caulk Adapter Installed.Also, when doing overhead rafter seams it’s hard toSEE how/where the caulk is going cause of the wayit’s designed so you’ll need those plastic “caulk-tip”extensions” to See the caulk Flow...

Bought this to reach some areas in the eaves of my house off of a scaffold. It did a good job. For what it is, it's pricey, but it is a quality product that will last a lifetime for sure. You do have to buy the adapter if you want to use standard 10oz caulk tubes, which is annoying. For the price I feel like that should be included in the package. Just something to be aware of.

I bought this for my husbands job sites. He loves this product. It helps get into thoughts spots he can't reach and when he doesn't want to bent over all the time. Cuts his time in half. Easy to work with.

I had bought the 10oz insert as well. It wasn't as long as I had hoped but was very surprised how well made it was. Have to admit I've never seen before where you could put the smaller calking gun inside the larger caulking gun. Quite ingenious.

This gun has a large barrel not comparable with any caulk available. Not clear in description!
