Fit great on my 2004 silverado

Needed to replace shocks on my Chevy pickup. Was checking online what the local stores had them for then thought I'd check Amazon. Glad I did, they are a way better deal on Amazon, super saver shippng doesn't cost a dime, and they showed up 5 or 6 business days later 3 shocks in one box and 1 shock in another, that was weird but they all got here the same day. All in all, way better deal than buying them from the local parts store. Tip: All parts I buy from Amazon I first look up the correct part number from OEM parts lists or autoparts websites, then see if Amazon has the same part at a better price. I wouldn't trust Amazon's part fit finder thing. I've tried it and you can come up with some pretty funky stuff. As far as a review of the shocks, I've never used anything but Monroe shocks, have never had any problems, and they were Monroe's with the correct part numbers in the boxes. Couldn't be happier.

I was looking for replacement shocks for my 7 year old 108K mile Chevy pick-up - the original shocks were getting kind of "wallow-ey." After much web searching, I settled on these Monroe's as a reasonably priced solution. The good news - my truck's handling has returned to the way it used to be, and the ride is actually quieter than with the old shocks - I'm very pleased. I was not after better handling than original or a harsher ride; I just wanted to recreate how the truck rode and handled when new. I think these shocks accomplished that (of course, this is depending on memory, which can be faulty). I replaced all four shocks, by the way. The bad news - With the first set of shocks I ordered, I got the wrong parts for the front of the truck. The Amazon "this fits your truck" guide has mistakes in it - I wouldn't trust it. I ended up looking on other web-sites to find the correct part number and then ordering that from Amazon. Amazon was great about the return - it was very easy, and I got a credit quickly.

They fit great. I was able to install within thirty five minutes of arrival.

Really smooth ride now.

I put these on my 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500. They were very easy to install and the bouncing I was getting while hauling a trailer stopped. Much improved ride, after I got the old shocks off I understand why. These replaced the standard shocks on my truck and worked well. I recommend.
