The DVD player works great. Good picture and sound. Great value for the money.

My old DVD player started making my movie watching a pain when it started adding a buzzing sound to my entertainment. After blaming it on the TV, buying a new one and finding the same problem (ug!), I purchased this and am happy to be able to easily play disks with a simple to use player that takes up very little space. It's easy to hook up and operate, though it may not have every possible adjustment that my old sony did. It works great, and my old remote works with it, so I have a spare...just in case.Go for it. The price is right and the quality is, too.

It arrived quickly and in like new condition. No scratches just like new. Hooked it up to my smart tv in seconds . Works perfectly and the picture quality was just like new. My first time ever buying renewed and I was thrilled with my experience. I highly recommend this. The price is ridiculous and the quality great. It’s a Sony; just buy it!

Purchased refurbished model. Worked without any problems. Will not work with Blu Ray. Don’t have many BluRay discs but wished there had been more information to know that for sure.

I purchased this DVD player because of the HDMI connection. My new TV was more confusing to connect A/V cables to and my older DVD player had no HDMI port/connection. It was very easy set up. Just plug into outlet, plug HDMI cable to TV and put in a DVD. I had been concerned after hearing some reviews as to the refurbished condition but mine looked like new. It was well packaged and included a remote. The shipping was fast . I have only had it a short time and probably won't use it often but so far I am very happy with it.

Less than two years old and will not play DVDs anymore.

I have an extensive DVD collection from past years and I’ve been using an older Samsung DVD player, with a Samsung television, but realized a Sony player might work better with my Sony TV in the bedroom . The Sony DVD player is easy to set up and use, however, subtitles are often a problem and I’m not sure why. I’m unable to access the correct menu to cure the problem and I think the problem may not be fixable, even after consulting online suggestions and calling in family help. The issue is a concern because most of my DVD series are British and that accent is sometimes difficult.
