Great little product. Works well and doesn’t come flying off. Pretty accurate but it’s not perfect but if you want to get your swing plane straightened out this will help. A little too expensive but still a good product. Id recommend for for getting a flat or steep swing straightened out.

When this is working, it works very well. I videoed my swing using the product, drew swing plane lines over the video and found that the resulting swings were very close to in-plane. I also found that performing many swings with the product did result in "muscle memory". Don't know how long it lasts without refreshing. But there is a problem. As noted in many other reviews, the laser does not stay on. It goes off after each swing. Mine came with a small plastic clip, which appears to be for the purpose of preventing accidental switch-offs. It can be be used to keep the switch button down, which does prevent the laser from turning off. Don't know how long before the clip breaks, or I lose it. The concept is very good. Wish the execution was al bit better.

I offered the Jingwei Golf Swing Training Aid recently. Of course the price is much lower than buying a Plane Sight Laser Trainer, but the item is low quality. The biggest issue with the product is that the top doesn't securely fasten to the base, which makes the items to susceptible to falling apart when you swing. Beyond the top not working, the materials used to create this product are low quality. I wouldn't recommend this product. After buying this product, I decided to splurge on the much more expensive Plane Sight Trainer. There is no comparison in the quality of the two products.

This could have been a good value But the switch is flakey and turns to laser off unexpectantly or takes two or more trys to get turned on. When working it is a helpful swing aid.

Great idea if it worked better. First, the laser beam can not be seen in daylight so not useable at an outdoor driving range. Second when screwed into the butt end of a grip it will not remain in a straight line with the shaft resulting in a false swing plain reading. Third, the laser light will not remain lite, so must be turned back on frequency. I cut the end of grip off on an old club and epoxy a wood plug into the shaft. I then drill a hole in the wood plug and this keeps the laser in a straight line. Then I practice swing the club in the garage which is dark enough so the laser can be seen. Not as good as hitting balls but it does builds muscle memory. After using this devise for a week I down graded from a two star to one and suggest not to purchase it. The laser light just does not stay lighted. When singing the light goes out 75% of the time resulting in not being able to see swing plain. Great idea but the devise is junk.

I was reluctant to purchase this after reading negative reviews, even at the low price. My response to the negative reviews - you’re not doing it right.This is an extremely effective tool to plane your swing, especially backswing. But you need to use it on the right way - use it indoors or in your garage, without a ball. It’s a red laser that will not easily be seen outdoors. And the on/off switch is a little touchy - if I accidentally hit the ground swinging inside it will switch off. So don’t even think about hitting a ball.This is very useful if you use it inside and swing back and forth repetitively, without striking the ground or a ball. My backswing was way too flat. I spent just a few minutes at a time swinging back and forth making sure the butt of the club was pointed to where the ball would be on my backswing. Instant, valuable feedback that really helps to get the swing on plane.For me, when I screw this all the way into the grip of the club, seems perfectly aligned. I cannot imagine a better swing training tool for the price.

After using this this laser for a couple of days, I really feel like this device was a big help in improving my swing plane. I was primarily swinging with a short heavy swing training club. After only a couple day and about 30 total minutes of using the device, I went out to play golf and I was hitting the ball significantly straighter. Great tool for a great price.The issue I have for the device, is it shuts off when I try to swing hard with normal clubs. I swing my driver at about 100 MPH and if I swing any harder than 60% power, the laser shuts off in the middle of the swing. Seems like the switch needs a stronger spring to handle the centrifugal force of a medium fast swing. Just an annoyance. I hope the manufacturer fixes this issue. However, the device is still a great value for $16 and I've been able get a big benefit in a short time from using this device. There is no other device that I've seen that can give such a significant benefit in a short amount of time for such a low price.
