Who doesn't like saving time, while doing the job right!
The Universal version of this tool is awesome. Allows for standard beams and ones that are wider. I'm laying pressure treated 2" × 6" × 14' boards butting them together, the tool is working great. Nice and snug! Heavy duty tool, once I got the technique down I was laying boards much faster. Recommended!

This Made Spacing My Deck Boards A Breeze
If I knew at the start what I knew at the end.I just recently rebuilt my deck by myself. My wife and I decided that we wanted wood instead of composite. After watching different videos about how to snug the boards properly, I tried some of the methods with varying success. I mean, they did work, they were just cumbersome and time consuming. So I bought this tool after doing about a quarter of the deck. This tool was what I should've done first.FAR faster, far more convenient, and well worth the $$ spent even if I never use it again. So now I have a great tool to loan out if any of my friends decide to do a deck, though it also works for siding.

Necessary for laying straight deck floorboards
Just finished second deck renovation using Bowrench and Camo edge deck screws. This tool is amazing. Allowed me to lay 16 foot boards straight. Deck done by myself. Couldn’t have done it right without bowrench. I use two of them with deck spacers and lock them in as I go down the board to ensure uniformity. It’s an art and a science but this tool is pro!

Very useful tool for decks.
Great tool. Perfect for decks especially hardwoods. It’s the perfect size for deck framing. It’s very durable. It’s easy to use and makes bends wood easy. Wood recommend 😁

Great Tool
I am replacing my deck by myself. It is a 12' x 15' deck. The first 8 deck boards I put down I didn't have this tool (I had it in my Amazon cart but forgot to order it). The boards looked straight until I started putting them down next to each other. I would screw down one end and the other end would have a 4-5 inch gap between boards. I would then take a shovel to try and pry them closer together so that I could get a uniform gap between the boards. It took me 7.5 hours to get those first 8 boards down. I went online that night and ordered this tool for next day delivery. The next day it took me 4 hours to get my next 8 boards down using this tool. What a time saver and so much easier to use than a shovel or pry bar. It has been the best tool investment I have made.

Made well
It would’ve been impossible for me to build my deck by myself without this handy tool. Previously, I had use crowbars that ultimately mark up your wood. This product is a must have anyone building a deck.

A must have tool for decks
My husband and I have built quite a few decks. After seeing a similar tool on Facebook I found this one. We decided to give it a shot since the deck boards in our area are always warped. We have spent hours trying to work warped boards or having to return and rebuy at least 1/3 of our lumber. With this tool we were able to build an 8 x 16 deck without having to scrap a single board. Other people mentioned durability issues, but we didn’t have any. We have decided that even if we had to buy a new one each time we build a deck it would be worth it!

Don't build a deck without it.
Works great. Ignore those reviews that said it doesn't hold. It holds great and closes gaps just as it should. A must have for diy deck building. Saves time and effort.
