MC-3436 is an OES Rear Left or Right magnetic ride strut for long and short wheelbase 2007-2014 GM SUVs (GMT900 Platform) equipped with the GM magnetorheological damper system (Z95 RPO). This magnetically controlled strut from Arnott provides the same highly adaptive ride as the OE. The monotube damper is filled with magnetorheological fluid which is a synthetic hydrocarbon oil that contains iron particles that are easily magnetized. The damper includes two electromagnetic coils which, when turned on, instantly change the bonds between the magnetized iron particles to alter the viscosity and stiffness of the suspension. Arnott's new universal Magnetic Ride GM front strut, which fits the left or right side, connects to the vehicle's ECU with no modifications.

Unit is well made
Using unit to light our Amaerican flag. Like the fact that the end is sealed from the elements. Our last one had a bezelaround the light which allowed rain water to set in against the lens and eventually shorted out the interior.Works great - only issue is the short cord - but not a deciding issue.
