Doesn't fit all ltp7000 plasma cutters
I bought this torch for use on a cnc machine. I bought my lotos ltp7000 4 or 5 years ago. At the time they were selling these straight handle cnc torches but before I got around to buying one they stopped selling them. When I saw that they were selling them again I happily bought one. It doesn't fit my machine. The trigger connection has three pins where my machine has a two pin connector and the air + power connector is bigger with different threads. I am using the cnc connector on the back panel of the ltp7000 to trigger the cutter for cnc use so the trigger pins don't matter the air + power connector however is a different story. I tried contacting ebranding through Amazon to see if maybe they had an adapter for older machines but I got no reply. I could just send it back but I had already gone to the trouble of mounting it to my machine. I have a home machine shop so I think that with some time, thought and work I can manufacture an adapter of my own. Before you buy this torch look at your machine, if your trigger connector has two pins don't buy it.It's now 6 months later. I did make an adapter to fit it to my older model LTP 7000. It works great with my cnc machine. At first it didn't work because I was using a usb smooth stepper and the radio interference from the torch would interrupt communication between the machine and the PC now I have switched over to an ethernet based 24 volt controller and it works fine. The only reason I give it three stars instead of five is because they don't warn you about it not fitting to older machines.
