Can i use this for my aquatic turtle? right now he is only under uv light during the day. he is not sick i'm just worried the water is cold at night

Yes this light will work with providing heat at night for your turtle. To keep your turtles circadian rhythm normal: the "daytime" lights (that is, the basking and UVB lights) should only be kept on for 10 - 12 hours a day. When the daytime light is not on, either a heating night light or no light at all should be used. These lights should be place on the same side of the tank as it’s basking Landing (a rock where the turtle can get completely out of the water and bask in the lights) An unbreakable electric fish tank heater should be used to heat the water to a temperature of 75-85 degrees. An aquatic thermometer can be used to monitor the water temp. I hope this helps.
