I bought this mount to use for surfing with a Gopro 14. It did it's job, but the little pivot that the camera sits on that allows you to rotate the camera is both good and bad. It's good because it makes it really easy to rotate the camera around to get different angles, but the downside is that when you swing your arm around to paddle the little piece flops around a lot. It never broke in the water or anything, but it made it extremely difficult to paddle. I wouldn't recommend this product for surfing because the water pressure pushes on the pivot too much to make it flop around, but I would highly recommend it for any other activity. I surfed with it many times and it held up in the waves, so the quality is good. Also, the velco strap is great, never came loose at all and the plastic mounting bracket is also solid I never felt like the gopro was going to come out.

I used this while ziplining and while riding a mountain coaster and it worked well in both environments. I wore this both over the wrist and under the wrist. The wrist strap part consists of a padded velro assembly and there is a second velcro strap that lets you get a tighter fit if needed to really keep the thing in place. One great feature is that the camera mount can be turned around 360* and it clicks into several positions so there is nothing to tighten or loosen. I had no problem fitting my camera into the mount. The included GoPro style screw secured the camera perfectly and the camera did not move from its position. This mount is comfortable and I had no problem with discomfort while wearing it for 2 hours. Ultimately I got great footage using this mount and had NO concern that the camera would fall off. For the price, this is a fantastic value and I would easily buy this again.

This wrist strap worked great. I used it for surfing and scuba diving and it had no issues staying in place on my wrist and didn’t have any durability issues. I really like the ratcheting mechanism that allows you to easily rotate the camera.

I used this on a two day scuba trip in California. It did pretty well. I wore it on my left forearm. It got in the way of my watch a little bit. It has the first velcro that isn't strong but just holds it in place, then the second strap seems secure. I was wearing a 7ml wetsuit so it slipped a few times but overall held. I used a lanyard connected to my gopro which had the gopro underwater case. Those connected just fine to this strap. The rivets had started to rust by the end of the trip. It could probably be avoided if you rinsed and dried it after every dive but we were in and out of the water all day so there wasn't really a chance to get really dry. Definitely want to put this on last, it makes getting into your BCD a pain. Overall I think that I still prefer this to a goggle or chest mount. Material seems a little cheap but I won't be using it daily.
