Love it
I'm a big fan of melamine spoons and ladles because they're lightweight, but they melt soooo easily. This ladle is lightweight enough that it doesn't flip out of the pan (you know what I mean). But it conforms its shape to the side of the pan so you can scoop up a hefty amount of stew, etc.Used it for making ghoulash and it was so much easier than the melamine spoon.Love it. Ordered 2 in red and 2 in green. Red is in the picture.UPDATE 3-1-2019:I ordered two of these in blue and they came with a gray substance on them that will not come off. It looks like mold but sending them through a hot dishwasher did nothing. They are going back. Other colors are perfect.

sturdy yet flexible, like a gymnast. Buy this immediately for all your friends
I LOVE this ladle. Do not hesitate. Buy this immediately. Buy two, if you think you may need more than one. Firstly, the aesthetics: the color is super cheery and truly yellow. It matches my yellow lemon squeezer thing. Secondly (but more importantly?) the function. It has a perfect sized scooping bowl for soups and stews, AND it has this softness/ flexibility about it which makes it perfect for really scraping the last of the soup/stew out of the pot without making horrible noises. YET it is sturdy! it is some amazing combination of sturdy and flexible, like a gymnast. I plan to buy more for christmas presents for my best friends.

I love it!
I have to admit I was very disappointed when I got this, and I honestly thought it was a piece of junk! I mean the handle seemed sturdy enough, but actual scoop of the ladle... well I didn't figure it could even hold water, it seems so flimsy and pliable. I didn't try too hard, but it seems like it could be turned inside out... I just bought a ninja foodi, and after watching many recipes and reviews for it I learned the pot of it is extremely susceptible to scratches and only use wood or silicone utensils. I'm not a fan of silicone as I find it difficult to get the residual smells off, especially from chilli or tomato based foods, but there ain't no wooden ladles as far as I could find, so I broke down and got this. And as I said, I was not impressed... but it finally occurred to me how great a design this is! The fact that it is so flexible is a huge bonus! You know a ladle is basically a bowl on a stick, and trying to get all of the soup out is night impossible without tilting the whole pot, and then you still need enough room in the pot to lean the ladle! This one is a sinch! Just press into the pot with the scoop and it bends how you need it to! I love it! Of course, the first thing I made using it was chilli, and it still doesn't want to let go of that smell too easily... but the ladle overall is fantastic! I feels very nice, and despite the flimsiness, no, in fact, because of that, it is the best ladle I have ever seen!

The Ladle to Buy - Innovative
This ladle has exceeded my expectations. I needed a smaller ladle. My other ladle was way to large for everyday use. This one is great! The size is perfect. Silicone is heat resistant, comfortable to hold, and is colorful. I almost passed on this purchase because another review said the bowl of the ladle is flexible. I did not want to bowl to collapse while ladling hot soup. I have discovered in the months of use since I bought it that the bowl of the ladle holds food and liquid securely. It is flexible when scooping up a dish so that it gets into the corner of a square baking dish or the edge of a sauce pan. Nothing gets left behind in the pot. This ladle is innovative and an advancement in kitchen tools.

Not as good or big as my old ones
I bought silicone covered utensils YEARS ago that I LOVE. I gave several sets as gifts, too. Everyone loved them. Unfortunately, the company no longer makes them. So, I went looking for another source. This ladle advertises as XL, but it holds less than my old ones, and the cup section has no metal inside. The metal is only in the handle. Because the cup is only silicone, it bends. That might not be an issue, but I wonder that the bending might cause a tear in the silicone eventually. I would prefer that the entire ladle was silicone over metal. so, it is good now, but I’m not convinced that it will last. I'll update if I see any wear.

Not what I was looking for
I was expecting a sturdy ladle. This is not. Very flexible and not sure it would hold stew or soup without making a mess. Not even sure it would last that long. When you touch the ladle part i just moves and bends, does not keep its shape at all. Not worth returning, but won't be using.

The bowl is TOO SMALL for us…
Update: We stopped using this ladle because it's 1/3 cup capacity is too small (that's less than 3 ounces), my plastic Oster ladle holds twice as much, 2/3 cup, & my old stainless ladle holds a full cup. We tried but all that extra scooping was just really annoying, 3 scoops for a single cup of soup when soup bowls hold 12 ounces (1 1/2 cups) on average. We usually reach for the 2/3 cup Oster ladle for soups & the 1 cup stainless for stews & chilis.Pro: It’s solid silicone so there’s nothing to break off. The price can’t be beat especially for silicone that won't scratch your pots.CON: The ladle is SMALL, it only holds 1/3 cup (I measured it) which means many scoops to fill a soup bowl in my family (who am I kidding, we use soup bowls for ice cream & veggie serving bowls for soup!!).If you don’t mind the small capacity this solid silicone ladle is a great purchase, it's just not large enough for our family.

easy to clean (practically non-stick)
I have personally switched to all silicone cooking utensils. They are durable, easy to clean (practically non-stick), and I can use them without worrying about scratching my non- stick pans. This one the cup part of the ladle is a little flimsy compared to another one I have, but I font think it will affect the use of it, and I logged the color.

Ladle with built in spatula
It scoops as expected, but it also cleans the bowl or pot right out because the edge is soft and pliable like a spatula. Also gets marks for being a pretty pink! And, it hasn't stained at all or retained odours despite being used with stews that might leave both.

Flexible ladle
This gets the bottom and sides of the pot stirred properly. It is soft and and for me is easier to use than the rigid scoops. Important to start stirring soon for liquids that thicken in the cooking.

For my non-stick cookware
I use this for my non-stick cookware, and was so happy with this ladle that I also bought a basting spoon from the same manufacturer. To be honest, I love the fun colors .

Finally got myself a great non metal ladle.
Love the colour, useful, and though more flexible than I thought it would be, no problem.
