Good valve

After receiving and looking at some of the reviews, I decided to unscrew the flare portion. Inside, there was a ton of metal shavings and dirt. The washer was partially torn with a piece just hanging in the way of the air flow.I do not see how this could possible work as delivered. If I had not checked it out I would have ended up with metal filings in my air line.

These values are garbage. They leak due to poor construction. The threads on the valve body came stripped on one valve and leaked on another.Don't waste your money. Find a better product.

Flare on one side, something that is not mpt on the other. If that’s what you want, this is suitable.I’ll have to reread the listing but I thought it was mpt. Will adjust my rating if I missed that and the mistake was mine.

Leaking at joint around ball valve. Used starsan solution to find gas leak under 30psi pressure. Saw bubbles ON ball valve at the joint between the two outer pieces, just before the flare fitting. Used wrenches and sockets to tighten the joint as best I could. Improved, but still leaking.Side note: the metal is so soft I felt the shoulders of the hexes might start rounding-off.

Purchased 4 of these, they all leaked. If you are working with deep vacuum avoid these.

I have a few of these and they hold up to years of service.
