I had some cheap locks fitted when I first moved in, one had already started to seize up so I fell into a lock research rabbit hole. Graphite powder should be used annually to lubricate locks. I hadn’t done that admittedly hence why I assume my lock seized. Anyhow, on further research I discovered how easy it is to break into a house that uses a cheap cylinder lock. Very easy indeed. My research led me to these Avocet ABS locks, since I wanted to replace front and rear door locks I ordered the paired alike locks. This set includes 2 cylinder locks with 6 keys. The keys will work in both locks. Thus meaning only 1 key needed on your key ring. Bonus. The locks themselves are obviously of good quality, I watched a YouTube video of a popular locksmith trying to open one up, took him about 20 minutes in a perfect stress free scenario. The opportunist thief wont stand a chance getting in through the door fitted with these locks. The keys are also of high quality, they’re flat and rounded so no more stabbing yourself in the leg! They operate the locks effortlessly. I will just remember to lubricate these annually as £40ish per lock will be expensive.

As long as you measure correctly these are a very quick and easy upgrade to any older euro style locks.Very handy having one key for both front and back door.You can get cheaper but you usually get what you pay for. These feel very well made and the security rating is reassuring.A product I'm happy to recommend.

Product was delivered promptly. 2 lock pack means that all the keys (6x) fit both doors.If you have old eurocylinder locks then often these can be snapped easily. Check some of the videos on the web to see. It is scary how easy it is to break some of the old locks and gain entry.These are top rated for security. Easy to fit. Just remember to fit them the right way round (it is marked on the cylinder).One final thing, if you fit the most secure locks, remember its a good idea to keep a spare key with a trusted person. Because getting past these things if you lose your keys could be a tad on the expensive side.

As always we had difficulties finding and recognizing the keys for the front door and back garden, so I purchased this lock for my front door and back garden. In my opinion, this is an incredibly high quality and secure lock cylinder. Moreover, there has been a great deal of consideration put into making the keys. Comparing to other wellknown brands, it is so easy to put the key into the cylinder as compared to others.

Excellent value and quick delivery with prime. After extensive research and endless YouTube videos on euro cylinders I settled for these to replace my standard low security Yale cylinders. Definitely the right decision very well made and easy to install. The internal features of these locks are in a league of their own compared to all the competition. Incredibly smooth operation definitely recommend.

After a neighbour recommended these I have now replaced all external locks with Avocet ABS. Had I realised these were so easy to fit I would have done this months ago. New build house had thumb turns on the inside of the locks which is somethjng that always made me a little uneasy - if someone managed to break a window they could easily get in (and back out if managed to get in via a different route)

Received a matched pair of locks with 6 keys from the supplier. Easy to remove and install these locks and offer exceptional security with the 3 star BS rating.Supplier in brand new condition although the keys were a little sticky in the barrel due to the double pin lock mechanism (inner and outer).This was solved by using graphite lubricant (do not use wet oils as this will eventually clog the internals up).Much better value than the equivalent Yale branded 3 star lock. As we needed more than 3 keys buying a matched pair means 6 keys at no extra cost too.

When installed pins down this is a formidable lock. Just don't lose your keys, as what keeps out intruders stops legitimate attempts to get passed this lock. It can't be snapped or drilled. Lost keys, call a glazier not a locksmith!
