Cool & Comfy
New edit: photo shows sturdy plastic. That would have been my thigh. So pleased! The pictures make these appear bulky, but I really hardly notice I'm wearing them even when it's over 100F. I use them mountain biking on rocky terrain. I fall often, so I'm the perfect reviewer for these shorts. I have fallen onto rocks several times since I bought these, and they not only protected me from contusions, the hard plastic did not break. They slip on and off easily over your regular chamois even when you're sweaty. I can even put them on & take them off without removing my biking shoes. The sizing is standard. The construction is very good. The price is very reasonable. I recommend them highly.

Nice fit, will offer protection
Average build guy , great fit and feel. Fit under jeans nicely while still having decent protection. good for sports or like me motorcycling . Happy with them but more importantly made my parents happy that I had some kind of protection. Only 4 stars because they’re a bit long for wearing with knee pads so if you want those too you either skip it or find minimalistic style pads

What you see is what you get
These are great! Specially for the price the pads feel like they can take a hit. They are easy to use at first I thought i was going to have to get bigger pants because these are see through so most people are going to wear it under their pants but i try them on with no issues and it did not make it feel like my pants were super tight or anything I highly recommend these with your other protective gear

Very happy with this protection
Fits well, maybe runs just a bit large. But it fits nicely inside the motorcycle pants, not too bulky.Highly recommend them as I've fallen once already on my side and think they protected me as expected.

No protection on the tailbone.
It protects lower back and the hips, but nothing for the tailbone in case you land on your back.

Great product for the price
I’m 5’10 270lbs. These fit snug but we’re very comfortable. The protection is quite well for what I was wanting. I use them under my motocross pants. My waist is 42. They do have a sticky band on the inside to help keep them in place, However I do wear a pair of high quality spandex over these. I harescramble and mostly sit as I ride and the extra spandex help to hold them in place better. They are thin and very breathable ( not hot ) and I believe for the price they are an exceptional purchase.I normally buy the much more expensive pair, but I wear them out quickly ( in my sit riding style ) so I chose to try a cheaper pair. So far I am very pleased with this choice.I would recommend to any rider who doesn’t have a pair, and to all my bigger relaxed rider friends. I hope this helps.

No pee hole
Side pads are great. Other pads a little thin however sizing is right on the money. Don't know about durability yet but they seem upper middle range quality. no pee hole so a little inconvenient on the hills but i wasn't thinking about that when buying.

Great value- great protection gear
Really great product. Medium fits perfect - I am 5ft 9 at 180lb. It fits snug enough to stay in place during activities. The waist does go way up but I guess that's to allow for the tailbone protection to fit properly. I wear these under Jean's and shorts and I think the fit is ok. The thigh protector shows a bit but it does not matter to me. I wear separate knee pads and there is adequate room with these to allow for that. I had a crash and this gear did its job- so much so that there were no abrasions at all with the hips or legs- the elbows is where the asphalt got me. So I picked up better elbow pads....overall great purchase.
