PRS replacement nut.
If you have a PRS SE, this is an inexpensive upgrade that really delivers bang for the buck. Similar tone to bone. Bronze infused graphite. Helps with tuning stability and the string RARELY bind. Definitely get a luthier to install it. Some sanding / adjustment my be required for correct fit on the import guitar.

Excellent guitar nut for PRS guitars
These are nice nuts for PRS guitars. My Tremonti PRS nut was slightly narrower than others, but replacing it with one of these worked very well and gave me a normal width nut for my large hands.

Exactly what my 2008 PRS SC-245 needed.
If you are okay shaping and filing a nut and it's time to replace the fat/wide thin nut on your PRS guitar, this is the nut for you. There are other nuts on the market, but tonally PRS has this dialed. Why change a good thing? The nut is a near perfect fit. I say near perfect because every guitar is slightly unique. There should be enough material on the nut for height adjustment and string slot filing. Should you buy a new nut? Does a the tone from one or more strings on your PRS guitar choke out early or produce a sitar type tone? Does the same sting ring true when fingered at the first fret? If so, and the neck relief and action are set properly, there's a good chance you need to adjust or replace the nut. In my case, it was time to replace. Do you have the necessary tools? If you need to replace the nut on your guitar, you'll need a new nut, gauged nut slotting files (for the string gauge you use), sandpaper of various grits, a flat surface, and Xacto knife and a bit of skill. You'll also need a very slight bit of superglue. I also recommend a neck cradle (I use a cork cradle) and a soft towel, doubled or tripled up, to rest the body and some painters tape or low-tack masking tape. Parting thoughts... Tape the bits you want to protect. Take your time. Don't be too aggressive in removing material from the nut or in removing the old glue from the nut slot. If you mess up, there's a second nut in the package. There's no dark mysticism to replacing a nut. It's really just understanding and technique. Some say you should never try to do it yourself. I disagree. Weight the risk vs reward for yourself. StewMac has great tutorials and we all start our journey somewhere.

Amazing musical ring
Just like the TED Talk where Paul dropped his nuts on the floor, these have quite the musical ring to them.

Tonal difference is huge!
One of these was used to replace the nut on a PRS SE One. The tonal difference is really amazing. I was expecting a slight improvement, but am blown away by how much of a change. It's the equivalent of removing a blanket from your amp. Acoustically, the guitar rings more, and longer. Plugged in, the guitar sings. There are more mids and highs than before, and the lows sustain longer than before. Awesome upgrade!

Tuning problems diminished!
My PRS had an original nut that was causing HUGE problems with tuning! Not sure why, because I’ve always associated quality with this brand. The nut that was on there before, had grooves that just weren’t wide enough for the strings to move freely.... they’d get stuck. I had to yank them out with pliers! Well, this nut fixed that, but good! Now I play that guitar much more often with that 1 simple, inexpensive upgrade. Like having a Ferrari that you can finally drive because it got tuned up just right, after sitting in the garage for so long. Exactly what a PRS should be. No more tuning issues like it had before. Finally looking forward to days of playing on end.

A complete fix for my tuning issues on my PRS
This absolutely helped the tuning stability to replace the cheap nut that came on my PRS Fiore with this one. Also highly recommended for any PRS SE if you are experiencing tuning problems from the string sticking in the nut.

It is what it says it is, fits PRS SE guitars.

Sounds fantastic! Graphite and bone nuts sound good, but I honestly believe this one sounds better. Once glued into place and with the proper filing for each string, my 40 year old Jap Strat has never sounded better!

Direct drop in for PRS SE guitars. The difference is clear once you put them side by side. The core nuts are a different material similar to NuBone and is cut way better than the stock nut.

Great fit.
