It makes perfect braid

I've used this for making camera and phone leashes, and for little jobs around the house. It is very strong, and a good diamtere for my uses. The reflective threads are a nice feature - they show brightly if you shine a light on the cord. The one drawback with this type of cord is that is doesn't stay tied very well when NOT under tension. After a couple of days, knots loosen and become untied.

The chord that I received was coloured red and black, its only 2mm thick but really is strong. The centre of the chord has multiple threads of white coloured silky nylon woven together, the outer material is made from woven coloured nylon. The chord is slightly stiff but is extremely strong, it is claimed this will hold 90KG before breaking which is a considerable weight for only 2mm thick chord. I can see many uses for this. It's claimed that this is unaffected by UV light, damp or mildew so the chord will be ideal for outdoor use in the garden, camping or other outdoor activities where a strong chord is required. One problem is that the end cuts fray badly looking shabby, so heat sealing the ends with a lighter is required.
