Mr Salary (Faber Stories) Paperback – January 3, 2019

Another great book by Sally Rooney. You want it to keep going but it is just a short story. Highly recommend

I read this nifty little story twice and probably will again. Like other of this author's writings, it's about relationships. I found it utterly captivating and, for the life of me, I'm not sure what the pull is. Certainly nothing earth-shaking happens. There are no gimmicks. It's not long enough for character development. It's fascinating because it works so well for me and I can't put my finger on why. Recommended.

I love sally Rooney’s writings. It always leaves me wanting more

Whether its a short story or a novel, Sally Rooney's works are unputdownable! The only thing I didn't like about this short story was that it didn't go for longer!

I think this could have potentially become a really wonderful novel if fleshed out. But currently I am starved for anything Sally Rooney soooooo I will take it. It is a short story about two people who each have emotional baggage. Just like with her novels Sally creates this emotional pull slice of life and explores it. Would recommend after reading Normal People and Conversations with Friends!!!!!!

Sure, the story is short, but so worth reading! If you love Sally Rooneys other books, you’ll enjoy this one too. Nothing else like it.
