RUSK Putty Pomade, 3.7 fl. oz.

I use a small variety of pomades. I like this because it controls my very fine but very dense hair. Has a mild pleasant coconut smell only while applying. Use less than half of what you think you’ll need and see what you think. I also use Axe clean cut which holds about the same but requires more product and has some shine. My hair is shiny enough without adding more.

This product has excellent hold without the shine. The matte finish is nice and subtle to keep everything in place.

I have rather thick hair that has plenty of body so needless to say I have a tough time finding a hair product that will hold my hair where I want it without turning it rock hard...well at least I had that problem until I discovered this product. It was recommended to my by my local barber and wow what a difference. I can style my hair and it stays in place without turning rock hard. Even if my kids decide to mess it up or if I sleep on it over night I can still rework it hours after I have put this in my hair to get the same look I had before it was messed up. All of that is great but I think the best part is the smell. This product has the absolutely best smell out of any hair product I have ever used before. I would recommend that you get a decent shampoo with it as well because if this has a downside, which I don't consider much of a downside, is that you have to thoroughly wash your hair to remove it.

I like the smell and hold of Rusk. I think it works better with my specific hair when it is on the shorter side, but no matter when I use it, it holds better than most other products. The smell is very unique and I could see some people disliking it but I kind of enjoy it. I have thinning hair and it doesn't seem to do much for me on that end.

Love this clay wax have used many other types and been disappointed but Rusk Putty Pomade is the bomb! My go to hair style product for texture volume and definition. Lightweight forms easily and holds all day! Amazing stuff and use again and again. Don’t waste your money on other products get this one and you will love it for definition on shorter hairstyles

While this is described as having a strong hold, it unfortunately did a very poor job of holding my hair in place if I did not use an excessive amount of the product. I can see this as working great for people who do not need a product with a strong hold, in my case it fell short of my expectations. Will not be purchasing again in the future.
