Blue Agave Americana Cactus Plant (Maguey) 20+ Inches.

The agave was beautiful and healthy, had minor damage from shipping… also came with a free black widow!!!! Haha thanks for the cactus!

Expectations. The plant had broken leaves poor packaging. Not the size expected.

It took quite awhile to get to me but it was packaged nicely. I’ve potted it now and added light water. The image isn’t even 24 hrs it’s roughy 10 hrs later.UPDATE: few days of being potted and lightly watered with mostly fun sun in extreme heat it looks great still. Added some rock around the top.

Arrived in good condition and proper size plant but it does not look like a blue agave. It's light green and has the barbed leaves but are very small fine not like all the blue that I have seen. Look more like fine saw teeth than the normal ones. Not returning plant but not sure I have what I ordered! I know there are many varieties of agave. Neutral review as no way to verify if its the right type. Maybe this is just a very immature one. Nice plant just don't know it its the right one. Agave Vilmoriniana this is what the plant looks like! Found so yes it was not the right plant.

Ordered this product after careful review of similar products. This was shipped promptly and arrived well packaged. It's bare root obviously and I planted it right away. It has been in the sun since spring and I have noticed it seems to have rooted and is slowly growing. I would order again.
