I want to rate this 5 stars because it cuts my dog's nails so easily. I have had all kinds of nail clippers, I didn't like any of them. I bought this pair a few weeks and absolutely love them, apparently my dog does also, he sit perfectly still while I trimmed his nails, which he has never done! They are sharp and make a good clean cut without cutting the dogs nails to make them bleed. He is a 9 lb Maltese and a year old. I have a 12 year old Maltapoo and knew I would have trouble cutting her nails, as the older she gets the grumpier she gets, sorta like all of us. She is quite a bit larger than the male. She weighs approximately 18 lbs. I sit her on my lap and she saw the clippers in my hand and got skiddish, she is smarter. Anyway, after one nail trim, she did not flinch at all, she sit perfectly still until I clipped all her nails. She has dark nails so it is hard to see how far to cut, I read on the package instructions to cut a small amount the first time and cut them again the next week, it has worked fine! Better than paying to get their nails cut all the time. They get regular grooming, but their nails grow faster than the hair. I give these clippers 5 stars and the manufacturer 100 stars. Our black lab rescue is about 12 years old and has slowed down a lot. His nails needed trimmed but he's hard to take to the vet because of bad hips and getting him loaded in the car, etc. All that stresses him and me out. I took a chance with your product because if they worked like advertised, it would save a lot of grief, time and money. Thank you, thank you, thank you! These clippers are awesome! I let the dog sniff them and went right to work as he was lying down. He barely moved! I did all toenails the first time, then did a second round about two days later (because they were very long). Same dog reaction: Hardly moved at all. Same owner reaction: I'm such a happy duck! Clippers are simple to use, very efficient in cutting and well-made. I can't say enough good things about this purchase!

I've always been in love with this design in clippers. Very easy to use, and probably the best style I have used in my entire veterinary technician career. I will say they are kinda large, but that's just personal preference on my part. I have cut easily over 300+ dogs toenails, and I use small clippers on every size dog. You don't need large clippers for a large dog, or medium for medium dogs. I feel with the smaller clippers I have more control and are less likely to take more nail off then desired. That can cause bleeding and be very painful for the dog. These clippers also come with a standard guard, which I usually remove because all dogs nails and quicks grow at very different rates so the guard really doesn't measure length of trim anyways. Over all even it being larger than I'd like, this design is in my opinion the best on the market. This set I just bought replaced my identical green set that I have been using for over 10 years before replacing it with this new one. They are easy to keep sharp, and easy to take care of and from personal experience will last you for at least 10 years if you take proper care of them. Definitely a good buy!

Great set and does the job and last

They are light weight and easy to maneuver. When I first held them in my hand I thought because it was so light weight that they would be cheap and not good. Also because I only paid just a few dollars for them I thought they wouldn't be able to through my large dogs thick nails. BUT I WAS WRONG! THEY CUT THROUGH THE FIRST NAIL WITH COMPLETE EASE! 😀 I continued to cut and I nearly hand to use any strength in my hand. I went through all of my dogs nails quickly and easily. These clippers were a replacement for a heavier pair I had that I lost. But that pair, at some points I had to use two hands to pull the clippers together on the second use. I'm so excited I found these and I look forward to taking care of my big dog 🐕 for a long time. (I didn't need to use the file because the cut was perfect)

Our puppy has always flipped out about having his paws touched (he is a rescue so I am not sure what happened in the shelter or if they cut his nails short) so I was very nervous about cutting them. We slowly worked with him on getting him used to his paws being touched before even attempting to cut his nails. I finally bought these nail clippers and didn’t even realize it came with a file and when I calmed him down and tried to cut the first nail he was trying to pull away, but I finally got it cut and he actually let me cut the rest. I had NO faith in the file, but figured why not try and the same thing happened…the first nail he tried to pull away, but I finally got him to let me file it and he ended up falling asleep snoring while I filed the rest of them! When I was done he jumped up and whined because he wanted me to keep filing them! Needless to say these clippers and file were a saving grace and now my little boy wants his nails filed non stop 🤦🏼‍♀️😊

These are ok, the spring mechanism works well, but they didn't hold a good edge for long. They crush and splinter the nail if cut from the side, which happens sometimes with a squirming dog. After 2 years, there is some rust on the screw holding the mechanism together. Overall decent product that will get the job done.

Le forbici vanno bene io le ho acquistate per il mio cane e devo dire che sono facili da utilizzare e allo stesso tempo sicure , hanno una linguetta posizionata davanti le lame in modo tale che l unghia non possa sporgere più del dovuto , è davvero difficile sbagliare ! La consiglio

Super Schere, liegt gut in der Hand und man bekommt die Krallen sehr leicht geschnitten! Die Schere hat auch einen Anschlag, der verhindert, dass zuviel abgeschnitten wird! Das einzige Problem ist, sobald mein Hund die Schere sieht, flüchtet er bereits. Wenn er gerade am träumen ist, schaffe ich es zumindest 1 Kralle zu schneiden, manchmal funktioniert es auch mit sehr viel Leckerlies, aber es ist schon sehr anstrengend.
