Will a 1inch plug fit

The inside diameter is 1 inch. The fit will depend on the tolerance of the plug and the tubes.

What is the outside diameter of the tubes

The OD of these rock-hard tubes is 1-1/2”, so 1/4” wall thickness. Thinking they will make good mortars for small experimental star shells or a large single star

Would these work for model rocket bodies?

Yes. Guideline burst pressure: 2,500PSI. The tubes can be cut to length with a fine tooth saw.

Can the tubes be used to roll large tablecloths for storage?

I think the length of the tubes may be too short, they are only 50cm (~20") long. Maybe a broom handle would have the same diameter and stiffness but a longer length and not too expensive.
