One of the most feature rich units you can get at this price-point with great build quality!
So, I was looking for a automatic fan to help remove hot air from my garage. It can get up to 120F in there during our desert Arizona summers! I've tried several models. The majority of which operate on a simple dial system for either humidity or temp.Compared to those, this device is absolutely loaded. It allows you to set a maximum fanspeed, trigger the fans to automatically run based on a trigger point you choose which are:High TempLow TempHigh HumidityLow HumidityIt can also be set it to just be ON or OFF as well. You can also set it to start making an alarm beep if the temperature / humidity % goes above or below what you specify. The fans also slowly ramp up to the maximum speed you allow, providing for efficient operation. The device arrived nicely packaged, feels very well made, and comes with everything needed to mount. You get wall screws w/ anchors as well as threaded bolts. It even features an external temp probe that can go a fairly long distance away from the device, allowing for an accurate reading in the area you care about most. They make a version that allows for air to be vented outside as well as a version that allows air to be vented inside. The fans are easy to flip around if you don't mind to taking the unit apart as well. All in all, I highly recommend this device. It’s feature rich operation and fair price point make it a hard to beat unit. Especially since the price is comparable to what some of the larger “knob only” style units are.

Excellent Product
This is a great product. I needed a solution to help with a humidity problem in the room above a crawlspace. The crawlspace is vented to the outside but the airflow is very weak. When I opened the AirTitan it struck me that it was packaged much like an Apple product. Very carefully and thoughtfully packed with everything necessary for installation in a variety of situations. All I had to do was drill 4 holes in the concrete block around the vent and install the new fans. Very simple. Once I connected power and the temperature/humidity probe, the display showed the current environment. Programming was straightforward and problem free. The fans are set to come on when my humidity or temperature levels exceed my settings. The airflow through this fan is set to level 7 (out of 10) and it is perfect for my situation. The product is attractive (too bad it is in a crawlspace) and is well built. Since I've only had it for a couple of days I can't speak for longevity but the company provided information on how to contact their Customer Service Department for support.Don't hesitate to buy this product. I'll buy more for the other areas of our home in the near future.

Basement Ventilation
Purchased two fans to reduce the humidity and temperature in a “mud basement!” At first I thought they looked and felt too light to work very well. After installing and setting the control panels which was a little complicated they both turned on. Within 30 min they reduced the humidity from 80+% to 65% and reduced the temperature from 87f to 76f at which it was set to turn off. Almost silent and well made. Sprayed the walls and floor for mold and mildew right after the installations and the odor and visual signs of growth seem to be reduced as there is now no smell of mold or mildew. My neighbor had his house tested for Radon and his tested positive, so I’m hoping the fans remove it if it’s in my basement as I haven’t tested for it. We noticed a small decrease in our electric bill as the house floor is not insulated, guess it’s due to the reduced temperature and humidity.

It does its job really well, but at an expense. I use to ventilate my solar shed
The media could not be loaded. This product is typically used to air out crawl spaces and attics, and I think that it would do an OK job at these tasks. I ended up buying this for two reasons: It is fairly plug-and-play, and I enjoyed that it both took and told the temperature and changed its function based on that. The GOOD:-This does its job. You can set it to turn on at a certain temperature or humidity range, and it both accurately reads these and activates based on them.-It's not really that loud at full blast.-This is a high-quality build, appears fairly dust/waterproof, and I have no worries that it will keep chugging through both the blistering summer and frigid winterThe OKAY:-It's kind of dumb that you have to unscrew the fan and turn them 180 degrees to switch the direction of airflow. They actually make a separate product that blows the opposite direction, but they do admit that you can do this yourself. I really think that this could be simplified with just some simple tweaks, and certainly shouldn't require you to purchase a very similar but "opposite facing" product.-Although it claims to have variable speeds based on conditions, I can not say that I've seen that in action. In fact, I've exclusively only seen it ramp up to 10 when conditions for "ON" are met. Example: I set it to begin at 78 degrees. At 77 it is off completely. At 78 it runs from 1-9 in the span of about a minute, and then runs at 10 (highest mode) until the temperature eventually reduces to 77 later in the day.The BAD:-This is pretty expensive for just a ventilation fan. You're paying for the bells and whistles, but honestly I wouldn't mind a WIFI connection so that I can check on the temperature/settings when away (or for attics, so I don't have to crawl up there)-I don't think it really moves THAT much air. If you put your hand behind it, you'll feel a breeze. You'll definitely hear the motor. But I don't think that it's really circulating more than, say, a desk fan would do. It doesn't actually work well enough for what I use it for (ventilating a solar shed), but that wasn't really what it was built to do.All-in-all, it's one of the best products out there for this niche. It's plug-and-go, and it's designed pretty well to withstand tough conditions. Other than the expense and the fact that its variable power isn't really variable (basically just ON and OFF fan modes), it does do its job well.4 out of 5!-
