Mountain Falls Ultra Fresh & Clean Liquid Laundry Detergent Free from Perfumes & Dyes, 2 x 100 Fluid Ounces, 128 Loads

I tried this, in an attempt to find a detergent that actually cleaned, didn't give us rashes, and didn't break the bank. This fits the bill. My husband loves working in his garage, and gets really dirty and geasy. Some of the name brand detergents didn't get the greasy stains out. This product does. It has no perfume, so your clean clothes smell like clothes, not fields of flowers. I also use this on my gentlest, and they come out looking good. This doesn't cause and itching, as some of the name brands do. I even use it for my baby Granddaughters clothes. I definitely recommend.

Absolutely horrible smell. This is neither fresh or clean but reeks of the smell of dead fish. I feel like we were punked on this one.

The detergent works well enough but the smell is very off-putting and I will not purchase again.

I must admit I always use Brand Named Laundry Detergents so was a little concerned I'd regret using Mountain Falls. Compared to Brand Named Liquid Laundry Detergent you can't beat this excellent product, its a Great value. The cleaning performance is as good or better than the brand named detergent I was using. I love the fresh and clean scent used in the Detergent. I have a front loader so wanted to be sure this was "He" rated, low suds is very important for front loaders because the hub bearing will be slowly destroyed over time if you use Non He detergent. Give this Mountain Falls Ultra Fresh & Clean Liquid Laundry Detergent a try, you'll see why most give it a 5 Star review.

The detergent I received was not the one in the white bottle that's pictured (a fragrance and dye free formula), and instead I have the Mountain Falls detergent in the green bottle that looks to be Amazon's version of Gain laundry detergent. Gain is my normal go-to detergent, so when using this Mountain Falls version, I do notice some differences.The Mountain Falls detergent is a little thinner than original Gain, and it doesn't have the same fragrance. But it does wash well and is likely cheaper to buy than the name brand detergent. I've used other store-brand detergents that were supposed to be like Gain and they were horrible, both in smell and in how they cleaned. But this Mountain Falls version works great and the fragrance is nice. Not so amazing you'll be smelling your clothes all day or wanting an air freshener in the same scent, but smells nice. And does wash well!

Love that it is not tested on animals.I have used it for everything from gentle, heavy, no iron cycles and everything has been cleaned perfectly. I even washed some cat bedding consisting of super heavy and large bath towels to flannel sheets and there was no cat hair and no odor or stains left.I will keep buying this because it is so much better than what is on the grocery store shelves and again, the no testing on animals means a lot in this home.

Review of green bottle Mountain Falls brand "Mountain Fresh Compare to Gain" is a highly fragranced laundry detergent which retains a lot of fragrance in the garments and linens after washed and dried, even on an extra rinse cycle. This seems to work fine but is too highly fragranced for my personal taste so am rating 4 stars = Like It. I usually use a detergent specifically made to get the stink out of athletic clothes with sweat and out of Dri-Fit type wicking fabrics, and this is a general laundry detergent.
